After 4 previous trips Thailand I thought I had an understanding of the culture and way of life, how wrong I was! My recent tour 'Beautiful Northern Thailand' introduced (or should I say our magnificent knowledgeable tour guide Wrong), showed us just what the real Thailand is.

Now don't get mistaken, the tour is onerous. much walking and hiking thru ...read more thick jungle and up some steep hills, but it's all worth it even if it's just to relax and catch your breath in hilltribe village house. Did you know that Thailand was once Siam and consisted of Burma, Cambodia and Thailand. once "up north" you are immersed in the history and diversified cultures that now co-exist there. I won't spoil your thunder, you must try it, but get a little physically fit first .
