I travelled with my friend to NZ for this tour of both the North and South islands. It was a wonderful holiday and very well organised. The Tour Leader Jo Moore and Coach Captain Andrew Brown were exceptional. The inclusion of two day stays scattered through the tour was welcomed. All in all it was a fabulous holiday and I would thoroughly recommend Grand Pacific Tours.

The Grand Pacific Classic Showcase tour of New Zealand was absolutely fantastic. The tour was well organized and the optional activities well worth doing. Georgie at Global Journeys managed the booking and kept us updated in difficult times due to Covid but I would certainly recommend them for any travel arrangements.

We travelled with Grand Pacific around the North Island on a Classic Tour. I would recommend this tour as it was good value for money. The hotels were excellent, our luggage taken care of, coach comfortable. Every day was packed and we were taken to all important sites/activities. To do this on one's own would be extremely difficult. Would recommend ...read more the Ultimate Tour if money is not a consideration as did find the number of people on our trip rather overwhelming! However everyone was very friendly and the tour guide and driver could not be faulted.

Very well organised tour. Everything was attended to in a professional manner, from getting our luggage to and from our rooms, to comfort stops and moving us from place to place. Kauri Museum, Waitangi Treaty Grounds, optional trip to Cape Reinga & Ninety Mile Beach, Lord of the Rings Movie set and dinner at Walter Peak Station would be the highlights. Kev our North ...read more Island driver did a great job, he enjoyed a chat. The South Island driver was informative but lacked a bit of the personal touch. He didn’t mix with us much at all, he handled the coach OK. The coach was not cleaned while travelling in the South Island. Some stops were very rushed, others were longer than needed. We did not have much opportunity to appreciate some of the beautiful scenery i.e. no photo stops.

The accommodation was great, although a couple of the places were a bit tired and some up to three kilometres from town e.g. Queenstown. Showers over the bath make it difficult for people with limited mobility. The quality of meals generally were of a good standard although a little repetitive, being a roast meal most nights, everyone really looked forward to the nights we had a-la-carte menus. The coach was not equipped with Wi-Fi. Would suggest future travellers to New Zealand thoroughly research other operators before signing with Grand Pacific. Very happy with booking the trip with Global Journeys. No hitches at all. Too easy... We enjoyed the New Zealand trip very much. Very professional tour company. Comfortable coach, good crew. Accommodation super and food very well catered. Plenty of sightseeing options and much included in package.

The North Island delighted and informed us with visits to Auckland, the Geysers near Rotorua, the Maori cultural centre there, the site of the signing of the Waitangi Treaty, the Bay of Isles, Napier and Wellington. Wonderful memories. We had packed warm clothing and wet weather gear and needed it. We were early in the season, a month later might have been better. But then we would not have seen all those spring lambs and calves.

Very enjoyable holiday, plenty to see and do. All hotels were exceedingly good as were the meals, a mixture of buffet style and table service. Would recommend this tour to my friends.

The trip went smoothly. Lots to see and it was good value for the money paid. Accommodation was of a high standard with plenty of variety at meal times. Lots of stops and great information from the tour guide and coach driver.

The trip was excellent, the people were from all parts of the world and were very pleasant, the tour guides were very helpful getting off the coach, the accommodation was over 4 stars, and the food was just too good... Fantabulous tour - excellent and friendly tour guides and drivers with excellent commentary and a fount of knowledge of local history, geography, Maori culture and customs. New Zealand Showcase was an amazing way to see both the North and South Islands. Grand Pacific was a great company to travel with and provided comfortable coaches with very experienced drivers, great accommodation, delicious meals and fantastic itineraries. There were only 15 passengers on the North Island section of our tour so we had lots of room ...read more on the coach and it took no time to load and unload the coach. We enjoyed the North Island and loved participating in the Maori culture.

The coach was almost full on the South Island leg of our journey but all passengers were friendly and easy going. We travelled in April and saw a fair amount of snow, with fresh falls between Te Anua and Milford Sound. We were fortunate to meet Peter Harding, the Managing Director of Grand Pacific Tours, and participate in some promotional filming whilst on this tour. This was lots of fun and added to our amazing experience in New Zealand. Hannah from Global Journeys has organised a number of tours for us over recent years and it has always been easy and problem-free.

Great holiday with great people on the tour. Coach captains, Chris and Riki, were great as was Paul our tour leader. Their combined knowledge and personalities were very suited to their work. Best holiday ever. It was fantastic having everything organised and the Tour Guide, both drivers and coach were superb. Can't fault anything. Hotels were of a high standard and the food was excellent. Really loved our first experience with an organised tour. Would do it again and will highly recommend Grand Pacific Tours.

This is the first time touring with Grand Pacific and it was the best coach touring experience we have had. The whole tour went like clockwork, which I am sure was largely due to the excellent management and organization of the coach driver and tour guide. We travelled in March 2017 and we were very pleased with the weather. The 19 day coach tour is very well organised with a good variety of excursions. Grand Pacific are top operators and we would recommend them to anyone considering a New Zealand trip.

New Zealand was much more than we expected. Beautiful scenery. Very friendly people. Travelling in October was pretty good. We got some rain and unexpectedly some snow but we also had plenty of sunny beautiful days. Accommodation was first class. Food choice numerous. The coach was brand new and with two doors to exit. Global Journeys have a very good online process for bookings. Very easy and clear to view /edit/follow/download/payment of the booking on their website. The average age group of the travellers was more around 65 and not 55 as promoted by GP. But they were all "fun" people and everyone had a good time on the tour. Highly recommend this tour.
