Whirlwind wonders!   0 , BC, Canada, Oct 2022
What a fun and exciting getaway to some fabulous cities in a short amount of time. If you want to see a lot in a limited timeframe, this trip is for you! The guide was extremely knowledgeable and there was just the right amount of interaction with travellers. I enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. The accommodation was much better than expected ...read more and the breakfasts were super. I would recommend travelling at this time of year (mid October) as the weather was still fantastic and you didn't see the crazy crowds of summer and holidays.
Wonderful trip 2 , VIC, Australia, Apr 2017
We had a fantastic time and saw many wonderful things during our trip from London to Rome. The hotels were great and the Tour Guide, MJ, was wonderful.
Surprised how professional everything was organised 2 , Australia, Sep 2013
We have just come back from our travels and our tour from London to Rome was definitely a highlight. I was surprised as the tour was a 'CostSaver' how professional everything was organised, hotels were lovely and our tour guide, Brek was fantastic!! I have already suggested this kind of tour to friends. Every aspect delighted us from the ease of bags ...read more always at our hotel room, the interesting information but not over-excessive by the guide/s and the long distances we travelled that never seemed too long and showed us the lovely countryside on the way. e took our teenage daughters so it was a great sneek peek at some of Europe. Yvonne at Global Journeys always answered my questions straight away and found out any further information as required. We have some wonderful memories. Thank you!
Unlikely to recommend Trafalgar in the future 2 , Australia, Sep 2011
I will start with the positives - the quality of the hotels were very good for the price we paid, as were the included meals and breakfasts. The included tours were also good and the local guides were excellent. The optional extras were quite expensive and cost us an extra EUR1400, however we did enjoy them all so can't really complain. We found the ...read more tour director to be quite condescending and seemed to treat the passengers like children - even Georgia (9 years old) commented at one point that she felt like we were being treated like babies. I understand that a lot of people who go on tours are first time travellers, however being treated this way didnt leave a good impression. The coach was extremely cramped down the back where we ended up for the majority of the trip (in fact Georgia spent 3 days on the back seat because the tour director seemed to play favourites with some people and wouldn't enforce a seat rotation with them). This makes us highly unlikely to recommend Trafalgar in the future.
