Taste of Ireland (Tour C) Reviews

Tour was too rushed and so much time spent on bus with slow rolling stops at some important spots and full stops at really not interesting places birds of prey is an example of useless stop. Very unorganised due to storm on the bus then off the bus lost a whole day sitting in hotel lobby could have used time to explore Dublin.

Just completed a great tour of Southern Ireland. Great hotels, great food, beautiful scenery all providing great service. Our driver Ken was fantastic. His knowledge of the history and the places we went to was amazing. His ability to drive that bus through the tightest of spaces was impressive. We had the best time touring Ireland with CIE Tours. Our guide, Tim, was so welcoming, knowledgeable and entertaining and it would not have been the same without him. The selection of hotels and stop-off points was perfect for a ôTaste of Irelandö and we were able to see a lot in such a small amount of time. What an introduction to Ireland!!! CIE was recommended by some friends as a reliable and well organised tour company. They fell short of singing all of their praises. The tour lived up to our expectations in ...read more every way. Our driver/guide (Tom) was a charming, witty and knowledgeable character with excellent driving experience. All the hotels we stayed in were fine and fit for purpose. The Killarney Towers Hotel took first prize from us. All the attractions, pubs and sights we visited were first class, it was obvious that they had been selected with great care. Congratulations to CIE Tours for an excellent holiday. We have already recommended CIE to several friends.

Well we are back home now after having a wonderful time in England and Ireland. We did enjoy our tour with CIE and would highly recommend it to others. Saw plenty in the little time we had touring this pretty country and certainly got a Taste of Ireland. We enjoyed afternoon tea at Connemara after visiting the marble factory there.

This was my first international holiday and at aged 70, I didn't know what to expect. My tour guide/driver was a wonderful gentleman, Tim Cotton. What a wonderful trip. Our first coach tour, so we weren't sure what to expect, but it was fabulous. Our driver and tour director Pat was incredibly knowledgable about everything Irish. Just finished 5 day taste of Ireland tour. 9-13th Feb. Excellent tour. Excellent hotels. Excellent company. Cannot praise Aiden (driver/tour director) enough. Ensured all passengers were catered for. All passengers joined in together. His commentary was concise and varied. Answered questions asked by clients. Smooth running of tour was entirely his ...read more doing. A great trip and the driver George Connolly was great. I have been on several trips and he was about the best I have had. I look forward to another trip with Mr. Connolly.
