From Cradle Mountain to Port Arthur and Hobart APT's Tasmania Complete was a trip of highlights, fun and laughter. Our Tour Director and Driver were exceptional and really made this trip wonderful. In a difficult environment when we had no idea we would be going or not due to COVID lock downs and restrictions, right up to the time of leaving, Georgie from Global Journeys worked hard to make sure we were kept informed of what was happening and that we received all paperwork and information in time when we suddenly needed to leave a week earlier than anticipated. This being the second trip we have booked through Georgie, the exceptional service we receive means we will continue to do so.

The tour is well organised. Excellent tour leader and skill full driver, very attentive and willing to accommodate your needs.

We had a fantastic trip with 24 other passengers in a large coach which enabled plenty of room. APT do an excellent tour and our accommodation and food was great, plus the itinerary was excellent. Lots of hugs at the end which symbolises a great trip. Many highlights along the way and to do over 2.5 thousand kilometres we covered a lot of Tasmania in a short time. Very happy with Global Journeys and would use them again when we hope to travel perhaps in 2020.

Once again APT put a really comprehensive tour together - we feel as though we really saw Tasmania. As usual the accommodation was excellent, and the travel arrangements were seamless. We were looking for a holiday that gave us all the sights and also provided a high level of comfort. We were very impressed with Sandy (our Tour Director) and Ron (our Driver). A thoroughly enjoyable Tour well organized and suitable for all ages. We enjoyed all the inclusions but because of our ages we didn't need to take the extras offered at our own expense. Accommodation all good except the extra bed in our Cabin at Cradle Mountain Lodge. Never mind we survived. Lovely meals.

The Tour Director and the coach driver were excellent. The information, history of Tasmania given during the drive time was informative, very interesting. We had a wonderful weather along the way. The highlights for me were Cradle Mountain and the Tall ancient forest, where one could explore alone, and truly hear the silence. Just awesome. The Gordon ...read more river cruise is something else to remember. It was a relatively small group of 24, the share accommodation was very good, having met another like minded person. The hotels were excellent with comfortable beds and all with it. The breakfasts were plentiful along with all other meals provided. Visit to the Chocolate Factory was interesting and informative, so was the lavender farm. All in all very good, recommend to go along.

I had a wonderful 12 days tour around Tasmania with APT. I am satisfied with all the arrangements by APT. Our tour guide Sandy was kind, caring, all-rounded and well educated. She could tell us many things about Australia and Tasmania. APT also have their own luxury coach which made me comfortable during travel.

It has been a fantastic experience for my husband & I, and we thoroughly enjoyed every single day of the 12 days holiday in Tasmania. Other than the accommodation at Port Arthur which we thought was a little shabby, the rest of the accommodations at hotels and lodges were excellent. Meals were great and dinner cuisines were just wonderful and sumptuous. ...read more We felt very pampered, being looked after very well by APT staff, Les and David. 12 days of Tasmania packed with excitement in scenic tours, walks in national parks and reserves, understanding the history and heritage of Tasmania, the forests, the wilderness, the mountains and bays, the railway ride, Lady Jane Franklin II cruise... And the most memorable event was on 30th September when my husband & I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary in Strahan! Thank you for a great tour.

In general, the tour was excellent. The itinerary was as comprehensive as it could be, the tour director and tour driver were wonderful, and most of the accommodations were quite nice.

Everything went very well. The tour director was excellent, the driver outstanding, hotels on a par with what we were expecting, at times more, never less! The food always excellent, at times outstanding (like the crayfish diner!) along with very good company. Overall, I'd say it could not have been better! All the very best.
