G Adventures have tailored a series of adventures that go the extra mile to give you more space, and more peace of mind, when you travel. In addition to the health and safety measures that you will find on all G Adventures itineraries, Confidence Plus trips welcome fewer guests, use private vehicles, and stay at accommodation with private rooms and ensuite bathrooms.

Snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland

Best of Australia — Plus

Travel down Australia’s East Coast from Cairns to Sydney taking in the beachside bliss, raw natural beauty, cultural treasures, and foodie pleasures of this beautiful coastline. In Tropical North Queensland visit Cape Tribulation and explore the Daintree Rainforest with an Indigenous guide. You can’t miss the Great Barrier Reef, with the option to take boat trip from Cairns or perhaps wait until you sail among the 74 islands of the Whitsundays.

Further south, highlights include a Pick-to-Plate experience at an organic Byron Bay farm as well as the option to head out ocean kayaking. En route to the Blue Mountains you’ll get the chance to stop at a local koala hospital before sightseeing the Three Sisters and Jenolan Caves, as well as stretching your legs in the Jamison Valley. Your tour concludes in Sydney where you can tick off some Aussie icons, such as Bondi Beach and the Opera House, before bidding farewell to your East Coast adventure.

Uluru adventure, Northern Territory

Melbourne, Outback & Uluru Adventure — Plus

Kick off your Aussie trip in Melbourne where colourful laneways and ample cafes will fill your free time. Set off in search of the perfect cuppa and enjoy the atmosphere of this cultural capital. When it’s time to hit the road, you can simply relax in your private vehicle as you soak up the spectacular coastal scenery of the Mornington Peninsula before you take the ferry from Sorrento across Port Phillip Bay to Queenscliff and drive through the Bellarine Peninsula and along the Great Ocean Road, where the the 12 Apostles await.

Head inland and swap sea winds for sandstone mountains in Grampians National Park where you can explore highlights such as MacKenzie Falls and the Balconies on foot. At the end of the road awaits Adelaide and surrounds – check out the charming city or perhaps opt for a day trip to the Barossa Valley or Kangaroo Island. Your last change of scenery comes in the form of a towering red monolith, iconic Uluru in Australia's Red Centre. Get an insight into the importance of this national landmark to the local Indigenous people, and watch in awe as the colours of the rockface change as the sun dances across the sky.

Mt Cook, New Zealand

New Zealand Express – Plus

Take in the highlights of the North and South Islands on this nine day express trip around the Land of the Long White Cloud. For a small country, New Zealand packs a punch in terms of raw scenic beauty and natural wonders. Check out the glow worms of Waitomo Caves, the geothermal wonderland of Rotorua, the lakes of the South Island, the beautiful Mt Cook region, and the spellbinding Fiordland National Park.

Lovers of the outdoors will be delighted, but there is something for everyone on this adventure. Relish the opportunity to learn about Maori culture with a local experience and hosted dinner during your time in Rotorua; movie buffs can visit the Hobbiton Movie Set; wine connoisseurs can enjoy a tasting at a local vineyard, and thrill seekers can pre-book a jetboating adventure to get their adrenaline pumping in Queenstown.
