What our clients are saying about their journeys through Turkey

“Well thought out itinerary and informative tour”
Fredrick & Liesl - WA , Australia May 2019
A good itinerary, the guide was knowledgeable, however was too patient with some of the guests who were continually late or went missing. The restaurant choices were also good however I did not appreciate dining with cats running under the tables and begging for food. The Turkish countryside was green, mountainous and ever changing which made for pleasant driving through.

“Fabulous trip to Turkey”
Larraine & Andrew - QLD, Australia Apr 2019
What a fabulous trip to Turkey with Intrepid. Our guide, Ozan, was amazing and so knowledgable about the history of Turkey. The hotels were all fantastic and we travelled with a great group of people.

“Our first tour with a small group and first visit to Turkey”
David & Mary - Australia Apr 2019
Highlights included: swimming above Roman artefacts in warm waters at Heliopolis; swimming in the chilly Aegean Sea near Gaz; several of the country excursions; and seeing the two main mosques and walking through the Topkapi Gardens in Istanbul. The 12 participants interacted well, across a wide spread of ages. Tour leader Ali Kartal, a Turk, was the main reason that the tour was a great success and most enjoyable. Intrepid Travel are to be congratulated for having provided the tour.

I especially enjoyed the food at the garage in Selcuk, the fish restaurant by the beach near Olympios, the Tat restaurant in Selcuk and our last meal in Istanbul overlooking the river! It was nice getting some evenings free to arrange our own food when we weren't feeling too hungry. The arrival flight on the first day (about 3am on the day the tour started) was too late. Though I know ...read more
