Welcome to Germany and Munich. Upon arrival, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your centrally located hotel in the Bavarian capital for your included two-night stay. Later, enjoy meeting your fellow guests and tour director for a convivial welcome drink.

Discover Munich, the vibrant capital of Bavaria, where grand architecture, rich history and timeless Bavarian traditions come together. Perhaps visit one of Munich's traditional beer halls, browse its elegant shopping streets or wander through the charming lanes of the historic Old Town. After breakfast, join an included panoramic tour of Munich that showcases the former Olympic site, Nymphenburg Palace, Maximilianstrasse and the Parliament, the National Theatre and Munich's Residenz. During today's guided walking tour, stroll the Marienplatz Square and see the famous Glockenspiel.

This morning, after breakfast, it's time to say farewell to your fellow guests as you will be transferred from Munich to Regensburg, ready for your exciting river cruise ahead. As you embark on your luxury Emerald Star-Ship, you'll be warmly welcomed on board by your friendly captain and crew. This evening, meet your fellow guests for a welcome dinner on board.

Set out on foot to discover the highlights of Regensburg. Passau is a picturesque city that has been shaped by the surrounding rivers over the years, situated right on the confluence of the Danube, Inn and Ilz. This memorable destination is dominated by large squares, magical promenades and romantic lanes. Cobblestone streets and graceful arcades welcome you in the beautiful city of Passau.

Return for lunch on board and an afternoon peacefully cruising along the Danube.

On this morning's walking tour, stroll through streets lined by Baroque buildings dating back to the 17th century and look at the Gothic Town Hall, Bishop's Residence and St. Stephen's Cathedral, a wonderful example of Baroque architecture and home to the largest church organ in Europe.
