Itinerary
Arrive and transfer to The Ann Hanoi hotel. Join a welcome dinner.
Visit Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Take lunch at KOTO restaurant, an organisation that trains underprivileged youths. This evening, there is the opportunity to see a water puppet show*.
Enjoy a cruise amid the magical, karst-strewn scenery of Halong Bay, and explore a cave by sampan skiff or kayak. Stay aboard your cruise ship, the Indochine Premium.
Cruise around the karst limestone islands. Disembark in the late morning and drive to Hanoi Airport for your evening flight to Danang. Transfer to the beachfront Boutique Hoi An Resort.
Take a walking tour of Hoi An. Enjoy lunch at Streets International restaurant, a social enterprise that assists street children. Take an afternoon at leisure.
Enjoy a day at leisure, with the option to take a cycle ride through the countryside or a visit a village*.
Drive over the spectacular Hai Van Pass to Hue (weather permitting), stopping at the Museum of Cham Sculpture en route. Afternoon visit to the tomb of the Nguyen emperor, Tu Duc. Dine at a restored royal home of the Nguyen dynasty. Stay at the Pilgrimage Village Resort & Spa.
Cycle to the Imperial Citadel and the Purple Forbidden City, then take a river cruise to Thien Mu Pagoda. Transfer to the airport and fly to Ho Chi Minh City. Stay at the Grand Hotel.
Drive through the countryside to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Later tour the city, visiting Notre Dame Cathedral and the War Remnants Museum.
Drive to Cai Be, and explore the Mekong Delta by boat and on foot.
Fly to Phnom Penh and transfer to La Rose Suites Hotel & Spa.
Visit to the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda and the National Museum. Later, take a tour of the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Choeung Ek Killing Fields.
Fly to Siem Reap and stay at Lotus Blanc Hotel. Afternoon visit to Angkor Thom, the Terrace of the Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King and the Bayon Temple. Watch the sun set with a cruise on Angkor Thom moat, drink in hand.
Take a full-day tour of these worldfamous temples. In the morning, visit the magnificent Angkor Wat. After lunch, explore Ta Phrom and Neak Pean Temples. Join a farewell dinner at Khmer House, Srah Srang, within the Angkor Archaeological Park.
Morning excursion to Banteay Srei temple and Angkor National Museum where the tour ends.
