In the afternoon, visit Veste Oberhaus, one of Europe's largest preserved fortresses, offering panoramic views over the city. Back on board, a lively Bavarian evening with music and culinary delights awaits as we cruise downstream to Linz.

Excursion to Salzburg, the City of Mozart

Early morning brings you to Linz, the vibrant capital of Upper Austria. Explore the historic city center, stroll along winding streets, admire magnificent townhouses, Renaissance villas, and the cathedral with its famous Bruckner organ. Enjoy a view of the pilgrimage basilica on the Pöstlingberg and perhaps a slice of the renowned Linzer Torte with coffee.

Alternatively, take a full-day excursion to Salzburg. Discover the baroque old town, Mozart's birthplace, the Getreidegasse, and other highlights. After lunch, admire the scenic Mondsee, made famous by The Sound of Music, before returning to Linz to rejoin the ship.

Dream on as we sail onward, and wake to Bratislava, Slovakia's coronation city. During our tour, marvel at St. Martin's Cathedral, Palais Grassalkovich, and Bratislava Castle, offering panoramic views of the city and Danube. A stroll through the historic old town reveals the Primatial Palace, Academia Istropolitana, and the Main Square with the Old Town Hall and Maximilian Fountain, ending with a traditional Pressburger Kipferl.

In the afternoon, explore the Rača wine region: wander between gentle hills, taste fine local wines at a family-run winery, and learn about the region's wine-making traditions. Back on board, a waltz lesson invites you to glide gracefully to the rhythm of the Danube, ending the day on a stylish note.

Budapest by Night & Onboard Folklore

A view that feels heavenly: Esztergom Basilica, Hungary's largest and perhaps most beautiful church, welcomes you on a morning excursion. Visit the nearby artists' village of Szentendre before returning to Budapest for lunch on board. The afternoon city tour showcases why the “Queen of the Danube” captivates visitors. Your final evening sparkles with a night cruise through Budapest's illuminated streets, accompanied by a gala dinner and a vibrant folklore performance.
