2nd Scenic experience not up to Standard 1 Vladimir and Helen, NSW, Australia, Aug 2025
Having previously used Scenic for a holiday and being impressed by their inclusions and standards we did not hesitate in using them again. In hindsight we should have reviewed what was under Scenics control and what wasn't. The land component in Canada was wholly under Scenic's control and it did not disappoint. It was incredible with valuable inclusions read more and Scenic free choice activities. This part we would recommend.
The 2nd part was included cruise which was on the Sapphire Princess - an old tired ship with only average food and a package which we took up which added close to $1400 extra (for 2) so we could have water, coffee and alcohol with dinner and also wifi for only 1 device each was average at best and definitely NOT 5 star which is Scenics catch cry. We also undertook the land component within Alaska up to including Denali and ending in Fairbanks. Again this part is under Princess and the accomodation was definitely not 5 star and especially in Fairbanks I would rate it 3 star at best. So in summary I would not recommend this total trip to be undertaken under Scenic and I am sure you can find better Cruise /Denali options that are better value and not rebadged under Scenic with a premium price.
