The tour was as advertised. The locations, towns and cities were memorable. The Tour Manager was knowledgeable, personable and organised. The bus was comfortable with a window seat for all those who might want it. The accommodation varied between OK to excellent. Included meals were mostly very good.
Two areas for improvement related to the free read more time in the various cities and towns. That free time almost always corresponded to the Spanish siesta time, so while restaurants and bars were open, other shops and attractions were closed. Which leads to the second improvement: it would be good to know the day before the potential activities at a location e.g. swimming in Biarritz. Also there was no chance of seeing the Sagrada Familia (Barcelona) because it had to be booked 4 days in advance. This requirement was never mentioned. Overall the pace was very relaxed and suited the older demographic on the tour.

As a three time traveler with Albatross I was as ever very happy with the trip. Every day was a new adventure and the standard of accommodation, the bus, and most of the meals were very good. I hope to do another tour next year!

Another superbly blended itinerary from the Albatross crew. Trip crams a great variation of sights & landscapes in, at a relaxed enjoyable pace. Once again hotels were a highlight in their own rights, reflecting the local character & ambience. Bus and driver along with tour guide Eve were exemplary. Always very happy to recommend Albatross and the read more booking team at Global Journey's to friends & family. Look forward to planning our next trip with both.
