A very enjoyable trip through the beautiful alpine countryside of Switzerland. Longer stays and 4 star accommodation throughout the journey was comfortable. Some excursions into the larger cities were not a match to the greenery and mountain alps. The stay at the Lake Garda hotel was excellent. Reinhart, our tour leader was also excellent in his management read more of the overall tour, his presentations and sound knowledge of all the places that we visited. Overall a worthwhile trip if you wish to experience the various delights of the Swiss countryside.

Excellent tour covering magnificent alpine country. Very difficult to surpass the beautiful landscapes and scenery we experienced during this tour. Lots of walking in historic villages to absorb the wonderful atmosphere, combined with character-filled accommodation and gourmet dinners. Unfortunately all lunch stops coincided with shop closures in read more the towns for their lunch breaks so no chance for any shopping in the lovely European villages.
We had train rides that were unbelievable, hotels that were for the 'Rich and Famous', the food was top notch restaurant class, a great tour guide named Reinhard, of which nothing was any trouble, a fabulous tour itinerary with something special every day. Thank you Global Journeys and a big thank you to Albatross Tours, this is our third trip with read more you and they just keep getting better.

I thought this tour was professionally managed by our very likable and competent tour director (Rinehart). The group size was ideal at 26 persons and the coach easily accommodated this group in very comfortable surroundings. We thought that the scenery was amazing and lived up to our expectations, with the accommodation provided also living up to expectations. read more The whole tour ran like Swiss clockwork, and the tour we went on I would recommend.
