We really enjoyed our ocean cruise (Norway to Portugal: The History and Traditions of Europe) and our river cruise (Normandy and Gems of the Seine)... both by Scenic. Booking again with Hannah ensured that everything went like clockwork...from the time we left home till we got back. We cannot speak highly enough of the prompt service we always receive read more from Hannah and Global Journeys. We have also found that Global Journeys prices are competitive and they will go out of their way to meet your needs. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a perfectly organised holiday. Regarding Scenic...everything is included in their packages, making for a stress free vacation. The Scenic staff cannot do enough for you...and the food and drinks are always A+. If you do the Normandy river cruise, look out for any tours conducted by Ben Bailie. He is just fantastic!

What a great experience. This was our first time on Scenic Eclipse and it exceeded all our expectations. Boarding the ship was quick and simple, probably taking less than 30 minutes from bag drop off to being escorted to our suite. As we are Platinum Loyalty Members, where dining reservations were required, these were made by Scenic prior to our boarding. read more We were invited to the Chef's Table which is a great experience if you are lucky enough to be invited. It only ran twice on our cruise with 10 people each time. The food in all dining venues was very good. The service provided by the crew and staff was exceptional in all areas of the ship.
Being our first ocean cruise we were concerned about sea sickness but we were lucky to have good weather and barely any movement was noticeable. It was very windy coming out of Tangier but the ship was hardly effected. The only criticism we would make is that some of the walking tours were too long (4 hours) and could have been shorter and more relaxed. But other than that it is very difficult to find faults with this cruise which we thoroughly enjoyed. We are looking forward to our next Scenic Eclipse cruise.

Booking was so easy with Hannah. Always quick to answer any queries and very helpful filling in excursions requests, especially for us not so good computer users! Couldn’t speak highly enough for this company, everything went smoothly, especially when having to cancel our first booking and transfer to a new booking. This cruise was very good. Spain and Portugal delightful countries to visit and good choice of included excursions. Compared well to Viking. Main (minor) disappointments were food related- no local regional food choices on menu (just usual restaurant menu), no fresh orange juice, no chocolates on turn-down. Overall 8/10.
