Our cruise onboard Celebrity Eclipse to Scotland & Iceland was wonderful. We saw Edinburgh although the weather wasn't good, Kirkwall in the Orkneys was lovely & we saw the standing stones there & a bus trip around the island was informative. Sunny day but windy. Our days in Iceland were great, we saw waterfalls, geysers, & national parks as well as read more going whale watching. We saw lots of whales, it was a fun experience. Shetland was just as we had imagined, grey stonebuildings in Lerwick but a vibrant bustling place. The countryside was interesting to see away from Lerwick. It's quite windswept but great views. This trip was so enjoyable, different from the European buildings & cathedrals. A breath of fresh air.

Great cruise with Celebrity Infinity this was our 1st cruise with this company and we would recommend them as a cruise line, our room a Oceanview at the front of the ship was quite and had a king bed which was nice. The ports we visited, Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes, Kusadasi , Thessaloniki, were all quite different to each other, our favorite, Mykonos read more and Rhodes easy to walk around no need for public transport you can just walk and all the sites are right where the ship docked.

We enjoyed this cruise, weather was great and the itinerary was really good. There is plenty to do on the ship during the sea days and the ports visited were all good. There are several included restaurants which have a variety of cuisine options on the menus as well as the main buffet. There are a lot of bars which can be very busy at times. The nightly read more shows in the main theatre are excellent and there are a number of other entertainment options every night. Hannah was very helpful during the planning and booking process and we felt well prepared for the trip.

This was an awesome trip. Weather was good save for 2 days (windy and cold). Lots to eat , different selections. Plenty to do on ship. Lots of bars and entertainment was top notch. This was with Celebrity Solstice.
Celebrity Beyond is a beautiful ship, filled with incredible spaces and artwork. The ship never feels crowded due to its innovative layout. The balcony cabin and bathroom were a good size (for a cruise ship). The food was excellent and the service in the Aqua Class restaurant Blu was excellent. Not sure if Aqua Class was worth the additional money, read more but we did enjoy the private restaurant and I enjoyed the free yoga classes (only 3, and still charged gratuity). We prefer port days, so 3 sea days was a bit much for us. Tortola was lovely for a beach escape, but that was it. Our favourite port was San Juan, and we would love to return to Puerto Rico (maybe a cruise leaving from there). We booked a walking tour of the Old Town through Get your Guide and it was excellent. Puerto Plata was also lovely, and we hired a local taxi driver once we had exited the port for $60UD and he took us to all the tourist sites and traps (we ended up with chocolates, cigars, handbags, shoes, and other tourist knickknacks). Highly recommend Celebrity Beyond and Puerto Rico!
We enjoyed a wonderful cruise on an amazing ship, Celebrity Infinity. Our stateroom was very comfortable and the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. There were lots of activities on board and concerts with a variety of excellent performers each night. The shore excursions were all very interesting and well organized and there was an excellent read more system in place to ensure that all passengers who left and returned to the ship were accounted for and that nobody else was able to enter the ship. There was a choice of buffet, a la carte or room service for each meal. Special highlights were visits to Knossos in Crete and Ephesus in Turkiye. We were very happy with the way Tracey from Global Journeys organized everything and answered our questions.
Hannah was so very helpful from start to finish. Firstly, with our quote and then booking with Global Journeys. Our telephone queries were answered quickly and efficiently if we needed clarity on anything. Grace was also very helpful one day when Hannah was not in the office. Our cruise on Celebrity Edge to Hobart was wonderful. The ship was modern read more and beautifully furnished. The Captain and crew were very friendly. Restaurants and entertainment were very good too. We’d definitely book with Global Journeys again.
Celebrity New Zealand cruise in a Cool Summer 0 Peter, SA, Australia, Dec 2025
The Celebrity Edge is a magnificent vessel. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food and restaurants were amazing. New Zealand in December and January was a little bit cooler than I expected for summer in that the temperature on most days did not get above 22°C. That in itself was not a problem, but it meant that I never wore any summer gear. read more The highlights included the visit to the Bay of Islands where we took a helicopter flight over the islands, as well as a speedy motorbike ride. Also, it was great to visit 7 cities as well as the magnificent fjords of the West Coast.
The main thing that was annoying to me was that in the room next to us were three South American teenagers who from 10:00pm till 1:00am on many of the nights either played soccer in their room or decided to have fights. The problem was that when I called guest services and security, it took them 40 minutes to attend and by that stage the noisemakers had quietened down so there was no evidence. It got to the stage that on most nights I ended up having to wear earplugs.
The major shows were good but tended to be very much just bands playing and acrobats and singers without being particularly spectacular compared to other cruises.
If you are able to, I would strongly suggest getting a balcony stateroom since it makes it very appealing to be able to sit outside and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the poolside area. One of my many joys was the 10 free ice cream flavours that were available until 9:00 PM each night. The staff there got to know me quite well.
I would definitely do another cruise with Celebrity as well as booking with Global Journeys since Hannah has always looked after me with my holidays.

Do I need a passport to cruise with Celebrity?
Everyone will need to present an accepted form of identification to board the ship. We strongly recommend that all guests present a passport as their form of ID on boarding day, and for some guests a passport is required. The passport must be valid for six months after the day your cruise ends. The name on your passport should match the name on your reservation.
What if my name on my passport does not match my reservation?
Everyone will need to present an accepted form of identification to board the ship. It’s important that the name on your reservation appears exactly as it does on the government issued identification document(s) that you use to board the ship. If your name has changed since your document was issued, you will either need to update the name on that document, or bring an additional, official supporting document to help explain why the name is different. This can include one of the following:

Do I need any visas to cruise to and from other countries?
Based on your nationality, you may require an entry visa to board your cruise or enter certain countries your cruise visits. It is the guests' responsibility to identify and to obtain all the necessary visas before commencing their cruise.
How much luggage can a guest bring onboard?
There is no limit or restrcition, however we recommend each guest carry a reasonable amount of personal property and limit the number of pieces they bring.
Are there blowdryers available for use onboard?
Yes, each stateroom will have a hair dryer provided for use onboard.
Do you provide bathrobes to use onboard?
All staterooms on all Celebrity vessels have two (2) robes for the guests to use while onboard the vessel. If guests would like to purchase the robes while onboard, they can do so through the Guest Relations Desk. Bathrobes are "one size" fits all (size 2XL upon request).
Are there beach towels for use onboard at the pool or during shore excursions?
There are two (2) types of towels onboard for swimming. Gray pool towels are available on the pool decks for pool deck usage. Beige beach towels are provided in the stateroom for guests on the night before a beach day for the guests to use while in port.
How do I make purchases onboard?
You can use your SeaPass card/account! Your SeaPass is a room key that should be waiting in your stateroom or stateroom mailbox when you arrive to your room onboard. Your SeaPass lets you into your stateroom and doubles as your Onboard Account charge card. You can show your SeaPass at bars, dining, and other venues onboard when you'd like to make purchases.
It can also be used to access to special areas of the ship if you are booked in a Retreat, Concierge or Aquaclass stateroom. You can view your balance and onboard purchase in the Celebrity Cruises App, on your in room TV (where applicable) or by visiting the Guest Relations desk. How do I plan my cruise experiences online?
You can log in to your Guest Account online to plan your cruise experiences. You will receive details from your Global Journeys travel advisor on how to access your Guest Account.
When can I check-in online?
Online Check-in is available 45 days before your cruise and remains available up to 3 days before you cruise. Once you have completed the Check-In process online, you will receive an Xpress Boarding Pass. This indicates that you successfully completed the check-in process for yourself and those guests listed on your Xpress Pass. Log in to your Guest Account and click "Start check-in" to proceed.
Do I need the Celebrity Cruises app if I've already checked-in online?
Yes, your app allows you to access your digital boarding pass, complete a required health questionaire, and begin the required safety briefing (Muster 2.0). It's also a great resource while you cruise to help you manage your itinerary and experiences like shore excursions, as well as chat with other guests on your reservation. If you have app notifications enabled, you can also receive essential cruise travel updates and emergency messaging.
Can more than one guest check in at a time on the Celebrity Cruises app?
For check-in, it’s one guest on the reservation at a time. However, one guest can check in everyone on the same reservation. Be sure to have all passports and travel documents handy.
How far in advance can I check in on the Celebrity cruises app?
You can check in on the app between 45 days and the morning of your sail day. Once you're outside that window, you can check in at the terminal on your sail day.
Am I required to set up an onboard expense account during check-in?
Yes, all purchases and services must be paid for using an onboard expense account. One account may be used for everyone in the group or individuals can set up their own accounts.
How do I know when to get to the terminal?
During check-in, you're required to select an arrival time. One of the benefits of app check-in is that your arrival time is listed on your mobile Xpress Pass. Please arrive during your selected window to avoid delays at the terminal.
Do you offer transportation from the airport to the pier and back?
Most ports will offer for-purchase transportation to and from the pier on the day of sailing and returning. Guests will need to meet the flight parameters for airport transfers on the same day that the cruise leaves and returns to be eligible. Transfers are subject to availability but will be open for purchase up to 5 days prior to sailing.
Can suite guests get onboard early?
Boarding times (Embarkation) will vary according to port, itinerary, and/or ship, and may even vary by sail date due to operational situations like Coast Guard drills, etc.Guests who have completed the on-line check in, are member of our Loyalty programs, or who are reserved in Suites or Concierge Class (Celebrity) may use priority embarkation lines at the pier terminal, where available.
How do I get my luggage to my stateroom?
If you check your luggage with a porter, your checked baggage should be delivered to your stateroom within a few hours of setting sail if tagged properly.
Does Celebrity Cruises send luggage tags or should I print them?
While we no longer mail bag tags to guests, we do make them available guests electronically via Guest Account (click "View Your Documents"). That way, you can print as many as you would like prior to joining the ship. If you are unable to print your bag tag, we will have luggage tags will be available at the pier for guests who prefer to use this service at the terminal prior to boarding. It takes just a few minutes to acquire the tags and fill out your information with the porter. Please make sure you know your stateroom number and room location, as reflected on the guests XpressPass.
Will I require travel insurance for my cruise departing from Australia?
We recommend guests purchase travel protection to cover any interruptions to their travel plans such as illness and travel delays. Ongoing costs for medical treatment post disembarkation remains the responsibility of the guest.
It is important that all guests take out appropriate international or cruise-specific travel insurance policies once a reservation has been made. Australian Medicare, New Zealand ACC and private health insurance will not cover you for any medical costs or emergency evacuations on board, even on domestic cruises. Insurance policies may also protect your personal possessions and valuables; provide cancellation cover if you miss the cruise or a pre-paid tour; and provide other forms of protection.
New Caledonian immigration authorities have advised that guests who do not hold international travel insurance that covers medical costs, repatriation and other expenses, could be refused entry. We strongly recommend that guests purchase adequate international travel insurance for your cruise.

What is Celebrity’s service charge policy?
For sailings from Australia or New Zealand, service charge is already included in the fare. These are distributed to crew members, including dining, bar and culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, hotel services teams as well as others onboard who work to enhance the overall cruise experience.All pre-cruise purchases, including beverage packages, are inclusive of service charges. Any beverages purchased onboard have service charges included in the listed price.
Sailings from other countries may have additional service charges added. Guests will still have the option to reward crew for exceptional service by choosing to provide a gratuity at their own discretion.

What’s the dress code? Do we have to dress up?
Smart Casual attire is required for entry to main dining, specialty dining, and the Celebrity Theatre. Smart Casual means you look comfortable yet tasteful in a dress, skirt, long pants, or jean, and stylish top or button-down. Shorts and flip flops are not considered Smart Casual. Each itinerary features one to two "formal" nights we call Evening Chic. Evening Chic means you dress to impress, glamorous and sophisticated in your own way, with a cocktail dress, skirt, slacks, or designer jean, an elegant dress top or blazer - some guests even pack a tuxedo or gown for onboard photos. The Daily program, delivered to your stateroom and available at the Guest Relations Desk, will be your guide to the correct attire each evening. If you do not wish to participate in Evening Chic, Smart Casual attire is acceptable for dining and theater.
What types of clothing is appropriate for dinner onboard?
Most nights, Smart Casual attire is appropriate for dinner in the Main Dining Room(s). For 6 night cruises or less, there will be 1 Evening Chic night where women should feel comfortable in cocktail dresses, skirts, pants or designer jeans with an elegant top. Men should feel comfortable in pants, designer jeans, long sleeved or button-down shirt, sweaters, sport coats or blazers. For 7 night cruises or longer, there will be two (2) Evening Chic nights.
How many formal nights will there be for my cruise?
For 6 night cruises or less, there will be 1 Evening Chic night per cruise. For 7 nights or longer, there will be 2 Evening Chic nights while onboard. While Tuxedos and Formal attire is still appropriate, they are not required and guests will feel comfortable in both formal wear and a dressier smart casual style. Jackets are not required.
What is Captain's Club?
Captain's Club is Celebrity Cruises Loyalty recognition and rewards program. The more the sail, the more rewarding your expeience becomes. You can enroll into the Captain's Club program by creating an account, and enrolling as a new member. You can link your cruises to your Captain's Club account and earn points with each cruise.

Once enrolled in the Captain’s Club program, you will need to create a Guest Account to manage and view your membership. Once signed into your Guest Account, your Captain’s Club number, Tier and Club Points will be displayed. A Guest Account will also allow you to manage your cruise vacations.

Is there Wi-Fi onboard?
Basic Wi-Fi and Premium Wi-Fi services are available throughout the Celebrity Cruises® fleet. With our Basic Wi-F you can browse the web, send emails, and text family and friends via select messaging apps. It’s a great value option for staying connected while you’re on vacation, but please note that features such as emailing large files, sharing photos or videos on social media, using streaming apps, or making video calls are only available with our Premium Wi-Fi. Basic Wi-Fi is only available for pre-cruise purchase or with All Included.
Premium Wi-Fi puts internet streaming at your fingertips throughout your vacation. Message or video chat with your friends and family, browse the web, send emails even with larger files attached, and post on social media to your heart’s content. Plus, you can enjoy videos, movies, binge-worthy shows, and music on your favorite streaming apps. Plus, stream from your personal device to your in-stateroom TV

Can I upgrade my Basic Wi-Fi included plan to a Premium Wi-Fi plan?
Yes this can be done pre-cruise through your Guest Account or you can also upgrade onboard at the iLounge. Pricing may vary by cruise ship and sailing length.
Will I be able to use my cell phone onboard?
Yes! Cruise guest can use their cell phones to make and receive calls, send and receive text messages, access email and surf the web. We use Wireless Maritime Service to offer advaced roaming onboard all Celebrity Cruises ships. Roaming will begin once the ship is in international waters and guests will see "cellularatsea", "NOR18" or "901-18" on their mobile display. Guests will be billed at rates similar to international roaming which will be billed to their monthly bill by thier home network.
