Port:Tower Bridge

Arrive at the centre of it all, below the watch of one of the most famous bridges in the world, Tower Bridge. From here, you can begin a tour of iconic landmarks, and discover why England’s capital is one of the most visited, adored and adulated cities. So much to see, so little time.

Close to Tower Bridge, you’ll find the Tower of London's historic fortress, palace and prison, while bustling central markets like Borough Market offer a taste of flavours from around the world. Sweeping green spaces like Hyde Park provide spacious relief from the skyscrapers, while world-class museums exhibit finely curated exhibitions from across the world, covering the entire scope of human history and invention, as well as the natural world.

Greenwich’s leafy parks and centres of refined study are close by, or a boat ride along the Thames will introduce you to this megacity from the perspective of the water.

Days at sea are the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind and catch up with what you’ve been meaning to do. Situated off the Northumberland coast in the north east of England, Lindisfarne Island or Holy Island was founded by St. Aidan. With its ancient associations, castle and priory ruins, Lindisfarne remains a holy site and a place of pilgrimage for many.

Aside from its historical pedigree, Lindisfarne has an exciting array of wildlife. Its island status protects tidal mudflats, saltmarshes and dunes which together form the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve. A great location for bird watching, rare plants and an abundance of food attract visiting birds from thousands of miles.

Scattered off the Northumberland coast, the Farne Islands are an incredibly important wildlife reserve. Sir David Attenborough declared the islands as his favourite place in the UK to see nature at is best.

During the summertime around 23 different varieties of birds can be spotted here, including razorbills, guillemots, eider ducks and colourful puffins. Look out for the island’s colony of grey or Atlantic seals hauled up on the rocks or bobbing inquisitively in the sea. The islands have the largest breeding colony in England with some 1,000 pups born each autumn.

The remote fishing villlage of St Abbs is located on the southeast coast of Scotland. It has a rugged setting with jagged cliffs surrounding the town and old fishermen's cottages tumbling down the surf battered harbour. Sea angling, sub-aqua diving, bird-watching and regular sightseeing boat trips run from the harbour.

It is also home to the St Abb's Head National Nature Reserve which has 200 acres of wild and rugged coastline with sheer, seabird-nesting cliffs rising 300ft above the water. From the top of these you'll get a spectacular view of the rugged Berwickshire coast.

Located off the east coast of Scotland, the Isle of May is a wildlife haven renowned for its bustling seabird colonies and rich marine life. A short ferry ride from Anstruther, this small island offers visitors a unique glimpse into the lives of puffins, razorbills, and seals. The island’s rugged landscape is dotted with historic sites, including the remains of a medieval monastery and the Isle of May Lighthouse, Scotland’s oldest operational lighthouse.

Kirkwall is the capital of the Orkney Islands, it is considered one of the most charming and well preserved small towns in Scotland. The islands offer dramatic landscapes with cliffs rearing 1,000 feet above the waves to sweeping white sand beaches. Small ships will dock at this port, while larger ships will anchor offshore.

Lerwick, the capital of the Shetland Island Archipelago, offers stone age ruins, heather-covered moors and rugged Scottish highlands. With its dramatic cliffs, Grand Victorian houses, charming Shetland ponies, and Nordic heritage Lerwick allows for hours of entertainment. Smaller ships will dock at the Port of Lerwick, while larger ships will anchor offshore.

Runde is an island in southern Norway, some 25 kilometers to the west of Ålesund. Runde’s south and northeast shores have flat ground and a few houses for the roughly 150 regular inhabitants. On the west side of Runde, and facing the open ocean, are impressive cliffs with caves. Here one finds Norway’s southernmost accessible nesting sites of Atlantic Puffins, Black-legged Kittiwakes, Razorbills, Northern Gannets, and Common Guillemots. Several hundred thousand birds come here. Among the roughly 80 species nesting on Runde even White-tailed Eagles can be found.

The different colonies can be seen from the sea, as well as hiking up the mountain. One of the largest seal colonies in the region is found on islets 4 kilometers northeast of Runde. These islets as well as a small portion of Runde’s east and entire west coast are part of Norway’s Ramsar site 2164. A scientific station does not only work in seabird monitoring, but also in marine biology, rocky shore monitoring, oceanography and meteorology.

Port:Leknes

Leknes is blessed with some of the most spectacular scenery in Norway. Pretty red houses lay dotted on the green covered hills, while jagged mountains soar behind in a magnificent backdrop. Ships will anchor offshore and tenders will be provided to the pier.

According to legend, Trollfjord was named after the mythical creatures that guarded this narrow two kilometre strip of the Raftsundet Strait. Bright and verdant in the warmer months, snow-capped and glacial in the cold frost of winter, experience out of this world beauty no matter what time of the year you visit.

Tromsø is also renowned for its Northern Lights, visible from September to April. The Polaria Arctic aquarium provides a unique insight into Arctic marine life, and the Polar Museum offers a fascinating look at the region's polar history. Stroll through the city center to explore charming cafes, shops, and the historic wooden houses of Skansen.
