Itinerary
Welcome to Russia, meet and greet arrival transfer from Moscow Airport to your hotel. (D)
Today we ride on the capital's efficient Metro to Red Square. From here, we'll take a guided walking tour of the Kremlin, Assumption Cathedral and more. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure. (B/L)
This morning we head back to Red Square to pay our respects to Lenin - the grandfather of Communism, at his eerie mausoleum. Later we will continue to the Kremlin, where we enjoy a guided walk through the grounds, seeing gold-domed cathedrals and the tsar bell. Later this evening, we will head to the train station for our overnight journey to Pskov. (B)
Moscow-St Petersburg. High speed train to St Petersburg. Upon arrival touring of Peter and Paul Fortress SS Peter and Paul Cathedral. We also visit the Church On Spilled Blood. (B/L)
Visits to Peterhof Palace located on the Gulf of Finland in the summer or visit Catherine Palace at Tsarskoe Selo in winter (or Pavlosk Palace if Catherine Palace is closed). (B)
