Follow the Gibb River Road through some of the most remote and rugged landscapes in Australia this morning. After crossing the mighty Durack River, turn north onto Kalumburu Road, a 267-kilometre stretch of unsealed road which runs all the way to Western Australia's northernmost settlement, Kalumburu. Stop for lunch at Drysdale River Station, about 60 kilometres after the turnoff.
