Visit a family-run tulip farm with over one million tulips, each in different phases of growth and in many species and colours. For those seeking to travel back in time, you can go on a walking tour in Hoorn or visit the Zuiderzee Museum, providing insight into the maritime culture and history of the lively Zuiderzee region. After cruising the Delta, explore Middelburg on a walking tour, visit the Delta Works storm surge barrier or get active and take a guided bike ride through this historic city. (B/L/D)
There are several excursions to choose from today. For those that wish to discover two medieval cities, Ghent and Bruges, you can join a highlights tour. Or take a full-day excursion to explore Bruges in-depth. Alternatively, join a local guide to explore Ghent, followed by free time. Lastly, you may wish to attend a chocolate workshop and sample some of Belgium's finest produce. (B/L/D)
Walk through Antwerp and visit its cathedral, visit Rubens House or take a guided bike tour.
Later in the afternoon, choose between a Belgian chocolate, beer and waffle tasting or visiting the Floralia flower show. (B/L/D)
