Designed using our valued guest feedback and created especially to meet the requests of loyalty program members, the Scenic & Emerald Rewards loyalty program recognises and rewards both Scenic and Emerald travelers, with one unified membership.

Program Highlights

Please find below important information outlining the enhanced rewards program, including the details of the new program tiers, status points, features and benefits.

  • One unified membership - Your existing Scenic Club and Emerald loyalty accounts will be combined into one Scenic & Emerald Rewards loyalty program membership.
  • Combined points balance - All points you’ve previously earned across either Scenic Club or Emerald programs will automatically combine into one single balance.
  • Simplified tier structure - Scenic & Emerald have refreshed the loyalty program with a streamlined tier structure with four loyalty tiers — Gold, Diamond, Emerald and Chairman’s Club.
  • MyRewards - A key new benefit, where you can earn 1% of your new booking as an actual monetary value, which can be redeemed towards your next luxury cruise or tour.

The new combined Scenic & Emerald Rewards loyalty program features four loyalty tiers, each one designed to recognise and reward you for choosing to travel with Scenic & Emerald with experiences and benefits that enhance your journey.

MyRewards

How are MyRewards calculated?

MyRewards are calculated based on 1% of all guest spend on Scenic and Emerald cruises, land journeys and flights. MyRewards are not earned on port charges and taxes, flight taxes, credit card fees and gratuities (if applicable).

What products can I redeem MyRewards on?

MyRewards can be redeemed on any ocean cruise, river cruise or land journey including upgrades and extensions. They cannot be used as part of your deposit payment.

When do Scenic & Emerald MyRewards get added to my membership?

Scenic and Emerald MyRewards will be applied on the day after the last day of your cruise or land journey.

When can I redeem MyRewards?

Members are currently able to redeem their MyRewards and use them towards a future cruise or land journey. Please note that MyRewards are applied to a members account post travel and can only be redeemed once applied.

Who receives the MyRewards benefit if a single booking is made for multiple people?

When a single booking is made for multiple people, each traveler earns their own MyRewards, not the person who made the booking. The booker will only earn MyRewards on the share of the booking that relates to their own travel.

How long are Scenic and Emerald MyRewards valid for?

MyRewards will be valid and can be used within 3 years from the date of issue.

How can I apply MyRewards to my next booking?

MyRewards can be applied to your booking by contacting your Global Journeys Travel Advisor. Let us know that you would like to use your MyRewards, and the value will be deducted from the total balance of your booking.

Can I use MyRewards as a deposit on a future booking?

No, deposits must be paid as per our current terms and conditions.

Can I transfer Scenic and Emerald MyRewards to friends or family?

MyRewards cannot be transferred to friends or family. They can however be used between guests who are travelling together on the same booking.

Status Points

What are Status Points?

Status Points are the points you earn when you travel with Scenic or Emerald. The number of Status Points you receive depends on your booking type (for example, ocean vs river cruising) and your suite category, with higher suite types earning more points. Unlike Scenic and Emerald ‘MyRewards’, your Status Points cannot be used as credit on future bookings or purchases; they exist solely to help you move up through the membership levels

How long do Status Points last for?

Status Points do not expire with the Scenic & Emerald Rewards program and once earned, will be yours for life.

How can I check my status points balance?

You can check your status points balance by referring to your membership emails, where your current balance is displayed, or you can contact your Global Journeys Travel Advisor who access all your loyalty details - including your loyalty number, status points and MyRewards balance.

How many status points do I get from my booking?

The number of Status Points you receive depends on your booking type (for example, ocean vs river cruising) and your suite category, with higher suite types earning more points.

Program Details

Do I need to know my loyalty number when I'm requesting a quote?

No you don't, however if you have it to hand - that's great. If not just let us know in the Inquiry Form that you're a past traveler with Emerald or Scenic and we will organize the details.

Do I need to apply my loyalty number at time of booking to receive my points or rewards?

Yes, guests should provide their loyalty number when they are making a booking so that their points can automatically be added.

Can I still use MyRewards if my previous Scenic or Emerald trips were booked directly with Scenic or another agency?

Absolutely. As a Scenic Diamond Agency, our team of travel advisors specialises in organizing everything Scenic and Emerald. We're here to assist with your booking, answer any questions before you travel and support you upon your return — so you can still enjoy all the program's perks and benefits.

Changes to Program Benefits

I am already booked to travel in 2026. Will I receive all the new Scenic & Emerald Rewards benefits?

Members who have been elevated to a new tier will be able to access all pre-journey benefits including items such as airport transfers or pre/post accommodation from 1 July 2026. Note: Refer a Friend and Welcome Home vouchers are being retired and will not exist within the new program.

What changes are happening to the Scenic Gold Tier?

The Scenic Gold Tier has now transitioned into the new Scenic & Emerald Rewards Gold tier. The benefits for this tier remain unchanged. As part of the new program launch, 1,000 status points have been automatically added to your points balance for existing Gold members.

What changes are happening to the Scenic Platinum tier?

The Platinum tier is being consolidated and merged into Diamond. All Platinum members have been automatically included in the Diamond tier as part of the new program and existing members have had their points increased to 15,000 and will now receive all the Diamond tier benefits.

What changes are happening to the Scenic Diamond tier?

The points required to reach the new Diamond tier have been adjusted from 10,000 to 15,000, reflecting the elevated recognition this tier offers. All existing Diamond members with a points balance less than the new threshold have been automatically increased to 15,000, ensuring members can continue to enjoy all the incredible Diamond benefits, no action required.

What changes are happening to the Scenic Emerald tier?

The points required to reach the Emerald tier have increased from 25,000 to 30,000, reflecting the elevated level of recognition associated with this tier. Emerald status provides you with exclusive privileges, enhanced service, and acknowledgement that travels with you across both brands. All existing Emerald members with a points balance less than the new threshold have been automatically increased to 30,000 ensuring members can continue to enjoy all the incredible Emerald benefits. The Emerald tier benefits have been updated to reflect valued member feedback. Welcome home hampers have been replaced by private transfers at the start and end of their journey.

What changes are happening to the Scenic Chairmans Club tier?

The points required to reach the new Chairman’s Club tier have increased from 45,000 to 50,000, reflecting the exceptional prestige and distinction of this invitation-only tier. All existing Chairman’s Club members with a points balance less than the new threshold have been automatically increased to 50,000 ensuring members can continue to enjoy all the premium Chairman’s Club benefits. Chairman’s Club members will continue to receive the highest level of rewards and recognition offering exclusive benefits and personalised service at every stage of your journey.

What changes are happening to the Emerald Silver Tier?

The Silver tier has been consolidated and merged into Gold. All silver members have been automatically upgraded to the new Gold tier. This means any previous Silver members receive all the Scenic & Emerald Rewards Gold tier benefits. As part of the new program launch, 1,000 status points have been automatically added to your points balance if you were an existing Gold member.

What changes are happening to the Emerald Gold tier?

The Emerald Gold Tier will become the new Scenic & Emerald Rewards Gold Tier. As part of the new program launch, existing Gold members will be offered a one‑time bonus of 1,000 status points, which will be automatically added to your points balance.

What changes are happening to the Emerald Diamond tier?

The points required to reach the new Diamond tier have adjusted from 10,000 to 15,000, reflecting the elevated recognition this tier offers. All existing Diamond members with a points balance less than the new threshold have been automatically increased to 15,000, ensuring members can continue to enjoy all the incredible Diamond benefits.
