Amazing Scandinavia trip 0 Follow The Northern Lights (Norway – Finland) Mark, NSW, Australia, Jan 2026
We did an extended land and sea tour with Hurtigruten from Oslo, up through Norway then cruised up past the north Cape and then travelled down through Laplands then down to Helsinki. The scenery was spectacular. We saw amazing northern lights in Lapland especially. Hurtigruten cruise was very comfortable. Typical cruise ship cabin, well maintained. read more Meals were so provided and varied from buffet to ala carte. Food was good quality. We had also booked a Travelmarvel river cruise, however due to damage to a lock in the river system they had to cancel the cruise. While we were very disappointed, they fully refunded our payment, and let us stay on board for 3 nights with all meals and drinks until we made other arrangements. Overall, a fantastic trip. Thank you Hannah for helping us arrange yet another trip. You are always there to help we really appreciate all that you've done.

Our 17 day journey through Norway, Lapland & Finland was phenomenal. It was a combined Cruise/Land tour with Hurtigruten & I can honestly say all hotels used were of a very high standard, best I've had on any tour & the Glass Igloos were a highlight. The Hurtigruten ship is a working ship not a cruise ship, however rooms were comfortable & food was read more good. We took this tour in Winter, Jan 2026, & I had to keep pinching myself, it felt like I was living in a Xmas fairytale, snowed everyday & Northern Lights at night, surreal.
The activities offered on this itinerary were exceptional eg. Husky dog sledding, Reindeer Safari etc. Would 100% recommend this tour to anyone. As for our consultant Hannah Campbell, she was amazing. We were a group of 4 friends travelling together so there were alot of questions. I was nominated spokesperson for the group & anytime I emailed Hannah she was always so quick to respond back. We were so impressed with Hannah & Global Journeys that we currently have another 2 active bookings in the system with her. Would highly recommend both Hannah & Global Journeys. Can't wait for our next adventures!
