Lovely NZ Cruise 9

We booked a 13-night NZ cruise on the Celebrity Edge, and couldn't have asked for a nicer trip. The ship was lovely with nice accommodation and food, as well as an extensive range of on-board activities. The booking process was reasonably smooth, and Tracey held our position on the ship for an extra day whilst we were comparing options which was much read more appreciated. Tracey was also more than willing to answer any questions we had, and was overall very helpful. No regrets with this trip!

Can't speak highly enough of the service provided by Global Journeys. Professional and timely. On the other hand, Celebrity Cruises in general and Millennium in particular, would be the worst cruise experience i have ever suffered. It's easy to see why as it has to do with the business model and culture. Celebrity provide a low entry point with absolutely read more basic services, encouraging customers to upgrade. Food is terrible and one wonders whether chefs are actually employed. Wi Fi is a joke with better service on an offshore hotspot. Rooms are tiny and bathrooms even tinier. Most activities are product/market oriented. Difficult to find a space with silence. Shops stocking bags, watches and little of any practical value. Specialty restaurants and Spa services are outrageously overpriced, esp. for Australians, Canadians, etc with low rate to the USD. Drinks package is a joke, particularly for those who don't drink alcohol. Mineral Water was part of the "Premium Package". Evening entertainment was excellent.

This was a wonderful experience for us right from the start. From the moment we inquired about the cruise and throughout the booking process right through the cruise itself we were absolutely delighted. We loved the atmosphere. The staff on the boat were all polite, friendly and professional. The food was plentiful and the range amazing. There were read more numerous activities on the boat, as well as off the boat, to keep everyone satisfied. We loved going off shore at every stop and explore the local towns. The views were spectacular and Dawes Glacier in particular, unforgettable! We will have fond memories of this experience for a long time.
Ship was very clean, good quality food. We would have preferred more entertainment, just a casual bar with a band would have been good. Everything was well organised and shore excursions were good.

We enjoyed our relaxing cruise to the South Pacific and particularly enjoyed Tonga. Our balcony cabin was very well set out and comfortable. The dinner in the dining room every evening was excellent and we also enjoyed the evening entertainment.
