Beautiful Croatia 0 , QLD, Australia, Sep 2025
As a first time Azamara guest we were absolutely thrilled with our cruise content and the itinerary provided by Azamara. The staff and service was outstanding and we wouldn’t hesitate to do another Azamara cruise.
13 Best Of The Mediterranean Voyage with Azamara & Global Journeys   2 , QLD, Australia, Sep 2025
First ever cruise for me and booked with some apprehension. However, with the very professional guidance from Georgie at Global Journeys in helping to select Azamara Outbound as our choice for what was hoped to be an adventure of a lifetime, everything was beyond expectations. For anyone 50 plus, considering a cruise where you don't want a huge ship,... read more and can meet some very lovely fellow travellers, Azamara comes out with top ratings for me. Super cabin, super service, no onboard extras and plenty of help if you feel overwhelmed. Ignoring advice from Global Journeys, we booked sights at every stop. Not a good idea as it can be exhausting! Take time to relax & enjoy all that Azamara has to offer, and listen to those who have loads of experience when it comes to cruising. The Med is a long way from home, but the 13 day Best Of The Mediterranean Voyage with Azamara & Global Journeys was worth every dollar.
10 Action packed days on Dalmatian and Amalfi Coast 1 , WA, Australia, Aug 2025
We have booked with Global Journeys before and will again, the service is great. Would highly recommend Azamara Dalmatian & Amalfi Coast cruise, the smaller ships are great, they can get into ports larger ships can't. With a maximum of 700 passengers you can get off for excursions quickly, as the staff are well organised and efficient. There is a great... read more range of food available, whether you choose the dinning room or the casual buffet.
I now love Croatia 1 , QLD, Australia, Aug 2025
Venturing on my 6th Azamara cruise to Croatia was a fantastic experience. Every port had their own endearing qualities and I can’t wait to go back someday. Tracey Standing was invaluable with her suggestions on the things in each port not to be missed. I cannot recommend her enough.
Highly recommend Azamara Norway Intensive Voyage 0 , WA, Australia, Jul 2025
Hannah from Global Journeys was great to deal with, and made the quotes and booking easy. Azamara are great to travel with the smaller ships can get into ports larger ships can't. There is a huge choice of food available on the... read more ship to suit all tastes. You can dine in the dinning room or at the Buffet, the food is excellent in both locations. Norway is breathtakingly beautiful, we are so glad we chose this trip, there was still snow on the mountains in late summer, but we were only in T Shirts as the weather was warm and fine. Being above the Arctic Circle for 5 days was great, we hadn't been to North Cape before.
Fantastic cruise 0 , QLD, Australia, Jul 2025
This was my 5th cruise with Azamara and it lived up to my expectations. From the crew to the ports visited it was all I could wish for. Tracey Standing is an outstanding travel agent ensuring everything was in place and ran smoothly. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, experienced travel agent.
Azamara Mediterranean Cruise 0 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2025
A lovely cruise, beautiful locations. Azamara seems to be trying to paint themselves as a luxury cruise and whilst good, they are not quite there. Cruise is very reasonably priced but travellers need to be aware that excursions, special dining etc are extra. Our cabin was quite small, especially the shower but the service was excellent. Considerable... read more variety of food available, staff prepared to accommodate food intolerances. Excellent service in restaurants. Enjoyable Spain Intensive Cruise   0 , NSW, Australia, May 2025
The cruise comprised eight Spanish port calls, one British, one Portuguese and one French during the 14 nights on board. There were many highlights but we would single out the two full days in Seville as the most enjoyable because it gave us the opportunity to explore the city at our own pace. In addition the call in Seville features a 6 hour daytime... read more criuse up & down the Quadalquivir River with the ship being towed backwards for the last kilometre into the city. Seville has some magnificent architecture including the Cathedral & Tower, the Alcazar & Palace of Kings, the Plaza d'Espana and the Setas (world's largest wooden structure) - all within walking distance of the ship. Bourdeaux also produced a couple of gems - the Wine Museum and the Bassins des Lumieres (a German WW2 submarine base converted into a visual arts theatre). The only disappointment was the short stop in Lisbon when there was so much to see. We thought that an extra day in Lisbon and one less Spanish port would have been a better balance. Everything on board the Azamara Quest met expectations - good food, service, entertainment and port talks. And Global Journeys, as usual, did a good job throughout the booking process. An enjoyable cruise.

Yes, there is a small fee for each Azamara Shore Excursions tour to cover the cost of admission to attractions, transportation, and other associated tour fees.

Can I take more than one shore excursion in one port?

That depends on how much time we have in port, and what shore excursions are offered in a particular place. Generally, we recommend one shore excursion per port, to allow plenty of time to explore on your own and to allow for spontaneity to play a hand in your experience.

Are the shore excursions led by Azamara staff?

Shore excursions are led by knowledgeable and experienced guides who work with reputable local independent operators. The exceptions are Cycling and Azamara Chef Experience tours, which are lead by Azamara staff.

Do I have to book my shore excursions before I depart for my voyage?

We strongly suggest booking your Azamara Shore Excursions tours before departure to avoid disappointment since all the experiences are on a first come first serve basis. There is however a shore excursions kiosk onboard each voyage for you to book last-minute excursions.
