Wonderful Wendy Wu China Tour - Classic China 0

Wow! This tour exceeded my expectations. My first trip to China and my first Wendy Wu tour. Excellent national guide (very helpful, organised, friendly and funny). Local guides in each city were very good. Food was very good - this was something I was concerned about, but I had no problems and you certainly won't go hungry on a Wendy Wu tour. So many read more highlights: as well as the big-ticket items: Great Wall, Terracotta Warriors, pandas and Yangtze River cruise I really enjoyed the Li river cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo and Tiger Leaping Gorge near Lijiang.
Great group of 17: 6 Australians, 2 Americans and 9 English. There were 3 other female solo travellers. We all travelled well together. China was surprisingly clean. Trains and domestic flights were all ok. Hotels very good: all rooms were spacious, had a mini fridge, kettle, very good hot showers, comfy beds and even an electric blanket in Lijiang which I used! I would thoroughly recommend Wendy Wu Tours and would travel with them again in Asia.
