12 Days on Holland America, perfect weather and incredible ports to visit. New Zealand does not disappoint. Not sure I would go Holland America, the demographic was quite old and not a lot to do at night. Food was amazing though.

Holland America were really good to travel with, we chose a smaller ship and enjoyed every minute. The passengers were friendly and the crew were excellent, the cabin neat and clean. Wow, we enjoyed this beautiful cruise visiting some of the exciting cities that we wanted to go for a long time. Also, had the opportunity to do the Greek Island hoping and tasting some of their authentic food prepared by them. The belly dance came free along with the dinner menu. The cruise ...read more ship appeared to be tired, fine dinning at the main dinning room was extremely poor and the desserts were of bad taste. The after dinner entertainment at the Main Theater was not up to standard. Very cheap entertainment without any class. We had only one good show by a flute recital which we enjoyed on a 19 day cruise. Will we cruise again on HAL, good question, only if the standard of their cruise improves tremendously.

Undoubtedly the best holiday we have had. The Rotterdam is a new ship so everything was clean and worked. The staff were beyond praise - nothing was too difficult and they went out of their way to make the experience an unforgettable one. The locality certainly helped. The Captain even executed a 360 degree turn in one so that the full experience was open to every point on the ship. Onboard, there was something for everyone, even a grumpy old curmudgeon like me. Food was great, a wide range of drinks catered for all and the entertainment was excellent. Totally recommend the whole package.

Exceptionally beautiful scenery on planned trips from the ship, made our cruise a memorable event. We travelled from Copenhagen, Denmark to our first destination of Eidfjord (Norway), where a day trip was organised from the port to view, waterfalls and stunning terrain. In contrast, we then visited Ålesund, being taken on another bus trip to view local picturesque sights. Gothenburg (Sweden) was our final stop. Here, we visited the town, took a canal ride and on returning to the ship, visited the close by Volvo museum. Tractors, trucks, vintage and concept cars were all on show and most interesting to read about.

Our Holland America cruise ship Koningsdam was wonderful in all aspects! Balcony stateroom, food & beverage options catered for all! Staff and service was excellent. We believe the number of cruise ships allowed to berth in the Alaskan small towns was excessive.

We had a lovely cruise to the top of Norway. Lovely ship and great service. Global Journeys were easy to deal with.

Oh how we've just thoroughly enjoyed 24 days cruising the Scandinavian seas complete with Iceland. Global Journeys helped with flights and the cruise and all went without a hitch. I can highly recommend them.

We are staunch Holland America supporters and this cruise did not disappoint. The food on this cruise was top notch and we loved the ports and many opportunities to see cherry blossom trees!

Holland America is only 1 of 2 cruise lines that is permitted to head into Glacier Bay, a highlight of the Alaska cruise that is not to be missed. Apart from that, the cruise line offers numerous dining options, many of which are fine dining selections. The wine packages that were for purchase featured high-quality wines from around the world.
