Have you already been to Nuremberg, Germany? Skip the city tour and enjoy a bratwurst and beer tasting on one of our Special Interest Tours, designed to immerse you in local culture and flavours. Looking for something more active? Explore the beautiful scenery of Austria’s Wachau Valley with a guided bike tour along the Danube River. The choice is yours.
AmaWaterways' expert chefs create menus that blend exquisite, locally-inspired cuisine with traditional Western dishes. At breakfast, enjoy a glass of sparkling wine with fresh pastries or choose a made-to-order option from the menu. For lunch, visit the Main Lounge for a light bite or the restaurant for full menu service paired with high-quality regional wine or beer. Dinner is a multi-course delight with wine recommendations that complement visually stunning, delicious dishes.
On board Ama ships, you’ll have plenty of dining choices to personalize your experience. Dine at the Main Restaurant or The Chef’s Table specialty restaurant for award-winning cuisine. Visit the Main Lounge for tapas between meals, light lunches, and snacks throughout the day. On the AmaMagna, you can enjoy four unique dining experiences, including our Al Fresco Restaurant and Jimmy’s Restaurant.

In Vietnam & Cambodia a sightseeing tour is also included at each location on the itinerary. The sightseeing tours can involve walking on uneven ground and steps, travel by motorcoach, local boat or a combination thereof. Each tour is led by a qualified English-speaking local guide.
In Vietnam & Cambodia it is always advisable to travel light in Southeast Asia. For the hot and humid weather, lightweight easy-care clothing that includes some long-sleeved items for protection from mosquitoes and sun, raingear, and sturdy and comfortable walking shoes that you won’t mind getting wet or muddy. We also recommend you pack a few casually elegant items to wear at the Welcome and Farewell dinners.
In Asia all meals on board the ships are included in the cruise price. Complimentary soft drinks, juices, house brand spirits, local beers, filtered coffee and tea are available during the cruise. Free flowing wine with every lunch and dinner on board. Imported wine and premium alcoholic beverages are available to purchase at an additional cost. Complimentary water is replenished daily.
On our Africa cruise & land safaris all meals on board the ships are included in the cruise price. Complimentary wine and beer are served with all lunch and dinners on board. Coffee and tea are available free of charge throughout the day and during meals from the bar. Premium alcoholic beverages as well as drinks outside of mealtimes are available at the bar for additional cost. Complimentary water is replenished daily.
In Egypt all meals on board are included in the cruise price. Complimentary fresh drinking water is available throughout the cruise and your room will be restocked each day. Coffee and teas are available free of charge any time of the day. At lunch and dinner, local wine and beer, soft drinks, bottled water and specialty coffees and teas are available on an unlimited and complimentary basis. In the evening, enjoy our "Sip & Sail" cocktail hour. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are also available outside of mealtimes for an additional charge.
Our experienced teams monitor the situation on all the rivers very closely and our dedicated communications team is in place should we need to advise guests and valued travel advisors of any major modifications affecting their upcoming river cruise vacations and assist with any changes that may be required if the port of embarkment or disembarkment is affected. Whatever itinerary our ships sail, our staff and crew around the globe remain dedicated to ensuring that our guests have the most enjoyable vacation possible.
