Begin your day exploring the striking Hallgrímskirkja church, with its panoramic city views from the tower. Wander through the colorful streets of the Old Harbor, where you can find quirky shops, cozy cafes, and stunning views of Mount Esja.

Don't miss the Harpa Concert Hall, an architectural marvel on the waterfront, or a visit to the National Museum for a deep dive into Icelandic history. Recharge at one of Reykjavik's many geothermal pools, like the Blue Lagoon, just a short drive from the city. Wrap up your visit with a stroll along the scenic Sun Voyager sculpture, capturing the spirit of adventure and discovery.

Prince Christian Sound or Prins Christian Sund is a dramatically picturesque fjord in the south of Greenland with gorgeous glaciers, steep mountains reaching over 2,200 metres, crystal-clear waterfalls fed by the ice sheet and untouched wildlife.

Here, whales swim along the iceberg-dotted shores and bearded seals love to lie on the floating ice to soak up the sunshine.

Bright blue and purple flowers come out during the summer and visitors may get to witness an aurora borealis, a stunning light show put on by the polar night.

The largest town in southern Greenland, colourful Qaqortoq rises steeply over the fjord system around the city, offering breath-taking panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains, deep, blue sea, Lake Tasersuag, icebergs in the bay, and pastoral backcountry. Ships will anchor offshore and tender guests to shore.

Port:L’Anse aux Meadows

Cruise in the wake of Vikings in the north of Newfoundland. Nestled at the top of the Great Northern Peninsula lies L’Anse aux Meadows, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that represents the earliest evidence of European settlement in the New World.

Dating back to the 11th century, this historic site offers similar scenes to those found in Norse Greenland and Iceland. The ancient vestiges are a marvel of the past and the excavated remains of wood-framed peat-turf buildings hold stories of bygone times.

From Saguenay, you will be able to travel around the attractive region of Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, a veritable paradise for outdoor activity enthusiasts. Port:Tadoussac

The Quebec village of Tadoussac stands at the confluence of the Saguenay River and the Gulf of Saint-Lawrence, in south-east Canada. The village is bright with multicoloured houses nestling in an emerald-green pine forest. From the waterfront, it’s easy to spy out Tadoussac Chapel, thanks to its bright red roof. Not far from this church built of wood, one of the oldest in North America, stands a century-old village holiday resort, Hotel Tadoussac. Treat yourself to tea on the terrace overlooking the shoreline. In addition, at the marine mammal interpretation centre, you can hone your knowledge of the cetaceans that regularly frequent Tadoussac bay.

The capital of "La Belle Province" sits at the confluence of the St Charles River and the Gulf of St Lawrence in south-east Canada. Founded in the 17th century, the city still has an encircling wall, a historic civil engineering work and the only one of its kind remaining in North America. You will love the postcard-perfect stone houses of Old Quebec, the historic district listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Shopping is a pleasure in pedestrian streets such as Petit-Champlain Street, or you can relax over a spruce beer, seasoned with pine buds. Highlights: Kinsale town walk, Charles Fort, Blarney Castle, Ballycotton cliff walk, Fishguard town walk, and Warrepoint e-bike tour. Cruise experience on Le Bellot was exceptional from the cabin to the ship's facilities. Staff and crew were very accommodating. Tips: Book a deluxe suite for additional space without breaking the bank. Bring water resistant read more outer wear and comfortable walking/hiking boots for excursions. Be flexible with the itinerary; weather may impact port visits.
