Norwegian fjords cruise 3 , VIC, Australia, Jul 2023
Exceptionally beautiful scenery on planned trips from the ship, made our cruise a memorable event. We travelled from Copenhagen, Denmark to our first destination of Eidfjord (Norway), where a day trip was organised from the port to view, waterfalls and stunning terrain. Geiranger was our next destination and again we sailed up the fjord passing the read more beautiful waterfalls (the famous Seven Sisters and The Suitor), to stop at a town with steep surrounds. In contrast, we then visited Ålesund, being taken on another bus trip to view local picturesque sights. Gothenburg (Sweden) was our final stop. Here, we visited the town, took a canal ride and on returning to the ship, visited the close by Volvo museum. Tractors, trucks, vintage and concept cars were all on show and most interesting to read about.
