The Santa Ynez Mountains create a stunning backdrop, while the colonial buildings with a Spanish influence give the city a Mediterranean feel. Santa Barbara offers urban wineries for the wine aficionados, an abundance of wildlife at the national parks for the naturalists, and a rich cultural legacy from America's first settlers for the culture enthusiasts.
