Wander the narrow streets lined with traditional Mediterranean townhouses, Soller is a beautiful old town well worth exploring. (B/L/D)

Known for its old quarter and medieval streets, filled with palaces, churches and fortresses, Ciutadella is truly Vella i Bella (‘Old and Beautiful’). Life on Menorca is dictated by the slow and gentle waves that lap on the shorelines. Breathe in history during a walk through the old town and gain insight into the great past of the town. Learn the life of the ancient inhabitants, with archaeological sites dating back to 2000BC. (B/L/D)

Formentera boasts magnificent beaches, charming villages and glistening waters. Only accessible by boat, the island was favoured by pirates and has a long and varied history dating back over 4,000 years. Choose to relax on its white sand beach, enjoy swimming, snorkelling or kayaking in the turquoise waters, or take a walk or ride along the green routes across the most remote countryside. (B/L/D)

A prized location with one of the world’s greatest natural harbours at its doorstep and surrounded by rich mineral deposits, Cartagena surprises and delights. Once inhabited by the Romans, Cartagena is recognised for the wealth of ancient sites in and around the city. Explore the city of Málaga on Spain’s Costa del Sol, with more than 3,000 years of history, this 15th century merchants' centre is today a vibrant cosmopolitan city. Visitors flock to the region for its sunshine, and artistic roots. The city is the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, and proudly pays homage to the virtuoso with a dedicated museum. Uncover gastronomic delights such as “tinto de verano”, an iced summer wine and amble the streets filled with architectural delights from colourful baroque designs to historic Roman theatre. (B/L/D)

Puerto Banús sets the standard in exclusivity, and is known for luxurious cars, expensive shops and impressive yachts – where Scenic Eclipse will feel right at home. This small town was developed in the 1970s to be the perfect combination of Andalusian culture, reflecting the fishing ports of the area, as well as a luxurious port town with sophistication and elegance. Set against a backdrop of immense mountains, wind your way through the town’s narrow streets lined with flower boxes. With a late-night departure, enjoy the opportunity to experience Puerto Banús by both day and night. (B/L/D)

On the shores of the Guadalquivir River is Seville, the elegant capital of Andalusia. Seville is an architect's dream with historic styles ranging from the Gothic design of Cathedral de Santa María de la Sede to the Baroque style Iglesia Colegial del Salvador. Continue to discover Seville. (B/L/D)

On the western Algarve, Portimão is a small port with a bustling historic centre. Once a well-known fishing port, now transformed into a breath-taking promenade with shops selling traditional lace, ceramics, and leather goods, and fantastic restaurants. Portimão is much loved for the steep limestone cliffs that surround its sandy beach of Praia da Rocha. Architectural masterpieces from the 19th and 20th century seamlessly blend with colourful contemporary structures creating the Portimão we know today. (B/L/D)

A day at leisure to explore Lisbon. (B/L/D)

Discover the unique historic treasures of Porto. Located on the Douro river estuary, this metropolis shares its name with one of Portugal’s best-known exports, Port wine. Known as the commercial centre of northern Portugal, it is a city of baroque splendour. Explore this colourful city boasting houses decorated in Portuguese tiles, Gothic cathedrals, fado restaurants and amazing food. Stroll through the winding alleys, see the public street art, greet the friendly locals, hear the rickety tram, and feel the breeze of the Atlantic. (B/L/D)

Arrive at Ceis Islands. A national marine-terrestrial park and some of the most beautiful islands in Europe, you will soon see why the Romans named them ‘Islands of the Gods’. Surrounded by crystalline waters, these islands have no cars or hotels, which makes Scenic Eclipse the perfect way to visit. Watch the waves crash upon the shore, explore one of the many hiking trails, or relax and bird watch. (B/L/D)

A waterfront lined with vintage sailing boats; the peaceful Isle of Wright is the former residence of the British royal family. Stroll through the vibrant town, composed of independent boutique shops, explore the beaches or maybe partake in some water sports. Take a stroll around its towering chalk cliffs, golden sandy beaches, rolling rural vistas, and lush marshland, and you will soon see why Queen Victoria says that is ‘impossible to find a prettier spot’ than at Cowes. (B/L/D)
