The scenic trip takes close to two hours and you will land in a completely different world. Catch the 08:45 ferry from central Auckland and when you arrive in Coromandel Town at approx 10:45, you'll catch the 11:30 shuttle bus service from Coromandel Information Centre to Whitianga. Unwind and let the shuttle drive you through the scenic roads through the Coromandel, along the coast to Whitianga which is your destination for tonight. Why not treat yourself to a fancy cocktail and enjoy the expansive views.

Early birds can get the satisfaction of a stunning sunrise and perhaps even take a morning dip in the ocean. Whitianga is the gateway to popular places such as Cathedral Cove Hot Water Beach - join our included tour which incorporates three of the most popular natural attractions on the Coromandel Peninsula. Enjoy the spectacular Cathedral Cove, the unique thermal mineral pools (where you can dig your own thermal spa!) at Hot Water Beach and the azure waters of Te-Wanganui-A Hei Marine Reserve. Departing from Coromandel Town to these most impressive natural attractions, departure times are arranged around the low tide at Hot Water Beach so the self-dug thermal spas can be enjoyed to the fullest. The tour is a 6hr round trip. When you're back in Whitianga, you have an included entry into The Lost Spring - New Zealand's premier geo-spring resort, so relax there before heading into town for a drink and bite to eat.

Today, wave goodbye to the golden beaches and head back to the Big Smoke! Your shuttle departs at 7.30am from Whitianga to Auckland. The journey takes approximately 4 hours with regular stops along the way. Arrive in Auckland CBD around 11am and you have the day to explore the City of Sails! Unless you choose to jump off the shuttle at the airport for your onward journey.
