Cameras at the ready as back-to-back visits to World Heritage Listed national parks bring you face-to-face with ancient rainforests, gleaming glacial-carved lakes and furry locals, all while staying in some truly legendary lodges. Enjoy two nights under the roof of Freycinet National Park’s award-winning cabins, followed by two nights at the door step of Cradle Mountain National Park at Cradle Mountain Hotel.

The final course? A luxurious cruise across the serene Gordon River, providing the perfect end to an unforgettable Tasmanian holiday.


Welcome to "Van Diemen's Land!" Schedule flights to arrive by 4 pm. Please meet your Tour Director at your leisure in the hotel lobby from 2.00pm - 5.30pm to complete the tour check - in process. Later, Join your Tour Director and travelling companions for a welcome meeting and drinks, featuring local Tasmanian wines and spirits.

BRUNY ISLAND: Enjoy a tasting tour of this rugged island that may include local specialties such as fresh oysters, cheeses, berries, and more.

Travel to beautiful Freycinet National Park with a photo stop at the Convict Bridge.

FREYCINET NATIONAL PARK: Visit the Cape Tourville Lighthouse for amazing views of the ocean and coast below. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure to explore on your own. (B/D)

Accommodation Spotlight: Spend 2 nights overlooking the blue waters of Great Oyster Bay with the rugged Hazards Mountains as your backdrop. Located inside Freycinet National Park, you will fall in love with this captivating escape at Freycinet Lodge.

FREYCINET NATIONAL PARK: Morning cruise including the extraordinary Wineglass Bay and visit to the Cape Tourville Lighthouse. The remainder of the day is at leisure for you to enjoy the resort or explore on your own. From the Lodge you can easily enjoy a number of short, accessible walks within Freycinet National Park or you may want to consider the more challenging Wine Glass Bay hike for amazing views. (B/L)

LAUNCESTON: Tour and tasting at Josef Chromy Vineyard, guided walk through the scenic Cataract Gorge.

SHEFFIELD: Tasting and tour at a local honey factory, sightseeing to see the town's famous murals. (B/D)

CRADLE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK: Sightseeing including a visit to the majestic Dove Lake. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy more of the park on your own. This evening, enjoy a special behind - the - scenes visit to the Devils@Cradle to learn about this rescue centre devoted to saving the endangered Devils. (B)

CRADLE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK: Early morning at leisure to enjoy more of this incredible location.

STRAHAN: Orientation tour, visit to Ocean Beach, scenic dinner cruise on the Gordon River and into the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage area. (B/L/D)

LAKE ST CLAIR NATIONAL PARK: Visit the Wall in the Wilderness art project, sightseeing.

MT FIELD NATIONAL PARK: Sightseeing including the walk to Russell Falls.
