Itinerary
There are no activities planned until an evening welcome meeting.
Explore Lima's cultural and historical highlights by public transport and on foot on a unique insiders tour of the city. We'll visit some key sites in the historical centre like the Plaza De Armas and the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco before wandering the bohemian neighborhood of Barranco with a visit to the art gallery of a famous local artist. After, dive into Peru's culinary delights with a visit to local markets and shops to sample and select fresh ingredients. Then try your hand at preparing unique Peruvian dishes with a local chef, enjoying our creations for lunch. ¡Muy bien! (B/L)
After checking out of the hotel, enjoy a free day to choose from a variety of optional activities like a visit to nearby ruins or take a surfing lesson. For travellers continuing on to another G Adventures tour, your CEO will help facilitate the joining of the new group starting in the evening. (B)
