3 Barcelona
Today we explore Barcelona, visiting its most famous sights. Our sightseeing includes La Sagrada Familia, Plaza Catalunya, the Plaza San Jaume and Montjuic Mountain. Tonight we'll enjoy a group welcome dinner at a local restaurant. (B/D)
4 Barcelona
This morning we get acquainted with Antoni Gaudi's Barcelona. See the incredible Casa Batllo, Casa Mila and visit Park Güell. The afternoon is at leisure for you to explore at your own pace. (B)
5 Barcelona - Valencia
We head south to the friendly coastal town of Valencia, the birthplace of paella. (B)
6 Valencia
Welcome to the lively city of Valencia. The city boasts numerous gardens and a wealth of inspiring architecture, making the city a living museum. This morning we'll take a tour of the old city to see the historic bell tower, cathedral and the lively streets of Barrio del Carmen. (B)
7 Valencia - Granada
Sit back and enjoy the scenery as we travel across the Spanish countryside to the historic city of Granada, rich with Moorish influences and set against the spectacular backdrop of the Sierra Nevada ranges. (B/D) Special Experience: Tonight we'll experience a traditional Spanish tapas dinner, where we enjoy a range of delicious bite-sized savory dishes.
8 Granada
Today we visit the famous Alhambra Palace and the beautifully manicured Generalife Gardens, former place of leisure for the kings of Granada. (B)Please note: The type of entrance into Alhambra Palace varies and full access is not guaranteed.
9 Granada - Ronda - Carmona
Today we travel west to Carmona. Along the way, we'll stop in Ronda, one of Andalusia's famous ‘white' villages. The small village of Ronda has a not so light history, where the old town is declared Property of Cultural Interest and has been inhabited by the Celts, Phoenicians, Romans and Arabs, before being reconquered by the Catholic Monarchs. (B)
10 Seville Excursion
We discover grand Seville on a morning sightseeing tour, including the famous Royal Alcázar, the Cathedral of Santa Maria and the historic Jewish Quarter of Santa Cruz. The afternoon is at leisure for you to discover the delights of Seville. (B)
11 'Route Of The White Villages' Excursion
Today we'll travel the ‘Route of the white villages'. Our first stop is Arcos de la Frontera, characterised by brilliant white houses and narrow streets. Special Experience: Sherry is the most famous Spanish wine in the world and we'll stop for a tasting at a cellar in the village of Jerez de la Frontera. Our final stop is coastal Cádiz, a beautiful town with an old-world charm, known for its Moorish architectural influences and ancient streets dating back to medieval times. (B)
12 Carmona - Cordoba - Madrid
After breakfast we depart for Cordoba. Here we'll visit the incredible Mezquita mosque. The most important monument in the Western Islamic world, it evokes the ‘Omeya' style, as well as elements of gothic, Renaissance and baroque architecture. Later this afternoon we'll take the high-speed train north to the grand city of Madrid. (B)
13 Madrid
Overflowing with palaces, museums and grand squares, Madrid is a truly majestic city. Today we'll see the highlights on a city tour. (B/D) Special Experience: This evening we'll take a cooking class. Learn traditional methods and discover the delights of typical Spanish cuisine, leaving with a new repertoire of delicious recipes to take home.
14 Toledo Excursion
Discover the historic town of Toledo, dramatically situated atop a hill overlooking the Rio Tajo. Our guided tour includes the beautiful Santo Tome Church, home to a famous 15th century El Greco masterpiece. (B)
15 Madrid - Bilbao
This morning we travel north to Bilbao, the Basque Country's largest city and a delightful mix of tradition and modernity. On our way, we will stop at Burgos and take in some of the city sights. (B)
16 Bilbao
Our city tour today includes the Santiago Cathedral and Plaza Nueva. We'll also get the opportunity to browse the buzzing local market square, Mercado de la Ribera and explore Frank Gehry's celebrated Guggenheim Museum. The building's undulating organic exterior isn't the only thing to see - the museum is also home to one of the world's largest art collections. (B)
17 San Sebastian Excursion
Stunning San Sebastian is famous for its pintxos and golden beaches and today we'll get to experience both. We begin the day with a city tour and ride the cable car to the top of Igueldo Mountain for beautiful panoramic views. Special Experience: Taste txakoli, the region's famous dry white wine which pairs perfectly with a side of pintxos. Tasty individual servings of bread layered with delicious toppings and pierced with a toothpick. There'll be some free time for us to enjoy the beach location and soak up the sun. (B)
18 Bilbao - La Rioja
Today we venture inland to one of Spain's most renowned wine regions, La Rioja. A backdrop of the Cantabrian Mountains and vineyards blanketing the Ebro Valley makes for some truly beautiful scenery. We'll stop in the town of Vitoria and enjoy some free time to explore. (B)

Special Experience: Spend the day exploring some of the 500 wineries that make up this unique wine region, characterised by its ochre earth and abundance of sunshine. (B/L)
20 La Rioja - Zaragoza - Barcelona
This morning we depart for Zaragoza, where we'll have some time to explore before we board the high-speed train to Barcelona. Tonight we'll enjoy a group farewell dinner. (B/D)
