3 Lima - Amazon Jungle
Adventure awaits! We fly to the Amazon Jungle. After a short cruise along the river we'll reach our jungle lodge in time for lunch. (B/L/D) Special Experience: The largest rainforest on Earth, the Amazon Jungle is an incredibly diverse ecosystem. We'll cruise along rivers, canoe across lakes and spot the myriad of native wildlife, including monkeys, giant otters and caiman!
4 Amazon Jungle
This morning we visit Tambopata Candamo National Reserve and Lake Sandoval, a beautiful palm-fringed lake home to the endangered giant river otter. Later we'll discover the canopy from some hanging bridges, before a night walk to spot the nocturnal wildlife. (B/L/D)
5 Amazon Jungle
We cruise downriver to a small community and visit a local farm, where we'll sample some typical Amazonian food. (B/L/D)
6 Amazon Jungle - Cusco
Today we fly to Cusco, the former Incan capital. This afternoon we explore Koricancha, the Temple of the Sun - considered the most spectacular of all the Incan temples. (B/D)
This morning we visit the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, and discover the colours and local delicacies of the San Pedro Market. Later, we'll enjoy a short walking tour that includes the 17th century Cathedral of Santo Domingo, a fine example of colonial baroque architecture, and Barrio San Blas. (B)
8 Cusco - Sacred Valley
We travel into the incredible Sacred Valley, stopping at the Awanacancha weaving centre and farm, and to visit the impressive ruins and lively market of Pisac. (B)
9 Sacred Valley
Explore the incredible ruins of Ollantaytambo and see how the locals live on a stroll through the village. We'll also visit the salt ponds at Maras and iconic terraces of Moray. (B) Special Experience: Enjoy a traditional chicha and taste some cuy, a regional delicacy of guinea pig, at a local chicheria.
10 Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu
A magical day as we travel by Vistadome train to the legendary Lost City of the Incas - Machu Picchu! (B/D) Inca Trail: Optional Inca Trail trek available.
11 Machu Picchu - Cusco
Why not return to Machu Picchu for an optional second visit this morning? We'll then return to Cusco, stopping in Chinchero for a traditional weaving demonstration. (B)
Enjoy a day at leisure in Cusco. Full of plazas, archaeological ruins and interesting craft shops, it's a great place to explore and experience on your own. (B)
13 Cusco - Lake Titicaca
Travel through the majestic High Andes Mountains as we make our way to Puno, a small city on the shores of Lake Titicaca. (B)
14 Lake Titicaca
Cruise on the highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca. Split across Peru and Bolivia, we visit the Uros Islands, made from reeds, to learn how each of the local families lives on their own island and survives the harsh climate. We'll also visit beautiful Taquile Island for a delicious lunch. (B/L)
15 Lake Titicaca - Colca Valley
We venture into the incredible Colca Valley, home to the world's deepest canyon and some stunning volcanic scenery. (B/D)
16 Colca Valley - Arequipa
On our way to Arequipa, we visit the Cross of the Condor and the mountain terraces of Antahuilque. (B/L) Special Experience: The Cross of the Condor is the deepest point of the Colca Canyon. It is where the majestic Andean condor can be seen cruising over the morning thermals. Watching this amazing bird in flight is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
This morning we explore the ‘white city' of Arequipa. Highlights include the Convent of Santa Catalina, Church of La Compañía and Carmen Alto viewpoint for the best vantages of the surrounding landscape. Tonight, enjoy a special group "farewell to Peru" dinner. (B/D)
18 Arequipa - Iguazu Falls
We fly to thundering Iguazu Falls via Lima. (B)
19 Iguazu Falls
We explore the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls, and we'll really feel the power of the falls as we stand on a platform suspended over the incredible Devil's Throat! This afternoon we return to Brazil and walk the winding canyon path for panoramic views. (B)
20 Iguazu Falls - Rio de Janeiro
Get up close and personal with stunning, colourful birds this morning at the Parque das Aves. Set deep in the rainforest, it is home to more than 150 species of tropical birds, including toucans and macaws. This afternoon we fly to Rio de Janeiro. (B)

Enjoy a day at leisure before a traditional churrasco grill dinner at Fogo de Chao. (B/D)
22 Rio de Janeiro
Today we visit the icons of Rio, including Corcovado Hill, the Statue of Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain. (B)
23 Rio de Janeiro - Buenos Aires
We fly to the grand city of Buenos Aires, affectionately known as the ‘Paris of the South'. (B)
24 Buenos Aires
Our sightseeing in beautiful Buenos Aires includes the Plaza de Mayo, Recoleta Cemetery and Caminito Street in the vibrant La Boca district. (B) Special Experience: Visit the stunning Colon Theatre. The main opera house in Buenos Aires, it is ranked as the world's third-best.
