You'll be met on arrival in Hobart and transferred to your expedition small ship, the MS Caledonian Sky. Meet your captain and crew at tonight's welcome reception and dinner. Stay Seven Nights: MS Caledonian Sky (D)
Today we will explore the Freycinet National Park and surrounding areas. The majestic beauty of Freycinet's granite mountains and white, sandy beaches have long been admired by naturalists, artists and writers, and the area was reserved as a National Park in 1916. (B/L/D)
From Burnie, board a coach to Cradle Mountain. Take in the rugged natural beauty of the mountain and the surrounding national park before setting out to explore Dove Lake on foot. (B/L/D)
Located in Bass Strait, King Island is a peaceful paradise with rugged coastlines, beautiful beaches and wonderful nature walks. Start your day with a walk through the calcified forest before travelling to Seal Rocks State Reserve. (B/L/D)
Wake up at King Island, where today you will learn about the King Island kelp industry, before visiting King Island Distillery for a taste of local spirit. Afterwards, the famous King Island Dairy showcases its distinct range of cheeses. After absorbing more of the island's natural beauty, our ship then makes its way back across Bass Strait to the Tasmanian mainland. (B/L/D)
This morning visit the Beaconsfield Mine & Heritage Centre, exploring interactive exhibitions that recount the history of Beaconsfield and the Tamar Valley. After lunch on board, explore the Tamar Valley, enjoying a Signature Experience. (B/L/D)
