Itinerary
Welcome to Reykjavík. We'll meet you on arrival and transfer you to your hotel. This evening, come together and meet your fellow travellers at a welcome reception. Stay Two Nights: Reykjavík, Hotel Borg
See some of Reykjavík's most famed sights on a guided exploration this morning. After lunch, travel to the Blue Lagoon and go for a soak in the warm, mineral-rich waters. Later, return to Reykjavík for dinner at a local restaurant. (B/D)
Your day of discovery starts with a visit to the Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls. See the striking black sand and basalt columns of Reynisfjara beach, then journey to Dyrhólaey, home to a spectacular rock arch. You'll also visit the snout of Sólheimajökull glacier and the Lava Centre Museum, before continuing to your hotel in Vík for dinner. Stay Two Nights: Hotel Katia (B/D)

Have your camera at the ready during a visit to the Gullfoss waterfall today. Afterwards, head to the Geysir geothermal area, where the explosive geyser Strokkur erupts every few minutes. (B/D)

- Visit Friðheimar Greenhouse and Horse Farm, where you will gain insight as to how vegetables can be grown in Iceland's cold dark winters. You'll also learn about Icelandic horses and meet these beautiful creatures in their stables.
