Are you a young solo traveller looking for an adventure tour? We’ve got you covered! G Adventures and Intrepid both offer a collection of tours perfect for the young adventurer. The best part? Their tours are made up on average of 40% - 50% solo travellers.

With so many guests travelling solo, you won’t have to pay a compulsory single supplement when you travel with G Adventures or Intrepid. Instead you will be roomed with a same-sex traveller, or travellers, depending on the itinerary and accommodation style. If you prefer your own space, you can often opt to upgrade to your own room.

Taking a youth tour as a solo is the perfect way to share your experience with likeminded travellers in the same stage of life as you. Intrepid youth itineraries accommodate passengers from 18 to 29 years of age, while G Adventures’ tours for young travellers welcome guests from 18 to 39 looking for an adventure. Sound like you? Here are some tours that’ll have you itching to break out the passport.

One Week Camping in Iceland

It is just as hard to fathom the beauty of Iceland as it is to pronounce some of the places you’ll visit on this tour. Full of fjords, glaciers and volcanoes, it really is the Land of Fire and Ice – and you have to see it to believe it. Check out the Strokkur Geyser and the Gullfoss double waterfall, take a 4x4 trip across the green and black hills of Thorsmörk, and see Vik’s Black Sand Beach. Perhaps sail around the icebergs floating in the glacial lagoon of Jökulsarlon and take a hiking adventure in Skaftafell National Park. With this kind of scenery, you’ll be happy to spend your time outdoors exploring it!
