Hannah Campbell

From a young age I have always had a passion for travel and have been lucky enough to turn it into a career. In the past 6 years while working in the Travel Industry I have been to many destinations both for work and for personal holidays. Meeting and making friends with people around the world, experiencing their cuisine and culture is one of the reasons why I love to travel.

The travel industry fascinates me as it is always changing and no day is the same. I began my career in a retail agency however I decided to challenge myself and have found my home at Global Journeys!

Hannahs' Personal Trip Reviews

Hannah's Review:

In April 2017 I cruised with Scenic on their Jewels of Europe river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam. I'm a fan of river cruising - the whole unpacking once and living on a floating hotel is so relaxing. I was blown away by Scenic's service and attention to detail from the very first meet and greet at the airport to disembarkation day - everything ran like clockwork.

The food on-board was great - starting with a full buffet breakfast or you can order waffles, pancakes & eggs from the kitchen. Lunch in the main dining room is a huge buffet or you can ask the waiter for the lunch menu which usually has a club sandwich or a burger. If you were looking for a light lunch you can also eat at the River Café. Dinner in the main dining room is a 4 course à la carte, or you can dine at Scenic's Italian Portobello restaurant (you'll need to make reservations for this). I highly recommend dining here at least once - the food and wine was divine. If you're staying on the Diamond Deck (top deck) you will be invited to dine at Table La Rive which is a degustation with matching wines.

Every cabin has a Butler, so for the nights where you don’t feel like a 4 course meal and would like something easy you can phone your Butler and order off the room service menu. Scenic really have thought of everything - even the mini bar is free and re-stocked daily.

If you want a relaxing stress free holiday, I would highly recommend a Scenic River cruise, your biggest decisions are what Scenic Freechoice touring you are going to do or what to order for dinner!

Hannah's Review:

My tour with Insight was great, their coaches are extremely comfy with lots of leg room and I mean lots I could extend my arms out in front of me and I would just be able to touch the seat in front no cramped legs. I loved this tour as it covered a lot of Croatia and the sights that were on my bucket list e.g. Postojna Caves, Plitvice Lakes (amazing), Split and Dubrovnik you also get to go across to some islands which were beautiful. The Tour Guide was very impressive had a lot of information and you could tell she was passionate about this destination.

Hannah's Review:

Tasmania is such a beautiful place, this 10 day tour takes in most of the 'must see' sights in luxury. The hotels and lodges are all up to standard and food was amazing especially the BBQ Dinner on the Deck at Coles Bay we had the best weather for it. The only thing I could fault is that I wish there were two nights at Freycinet National Park instead of two nights at Strahan. Really enjoyed the Cradle Mountain lodge stay it was nice to be in the middle of nowhere disconnect from technology and take in the serenity of this place with wildlife wondering around some of us were lucky enough to see a wombat. The Gordon River cruise was another highlight you get to experience the Lady Jane Franklin II in the Captains lounge with drinks and a delicious lunch was so relaxing.
