“Excellent cruise with good service”

Trip: Aria River Ships River Cruise (EURC15)

Generally an excellent cruise with good service and very good guides on shore excursions. The only event which we thought overrated was the dinner at Princess Heide's castle - the cooking of the food (chicken) was very ordinary compared with that served on the ship .

“An enjoyable relaxing cruise with great excursions”
- QLD, Australia Jun 2018 1 Helpful Vote

This is the second time cruising with APT and I loved every minute of it. Extremely comfortable and the food was excellent. I travelled alone but found that everyone was very friendly and the crew made an effort to introduce me to fellow travellers, particularly at meal times. Madeline Lewis at Global Journeys provided excellent service when booking the trip.

“France's magnificence was on full display to be enjoyed through this holiday”
- NSW, Australia May 2018 3 Helpful Votes

My trip comprised actually three one week cruises - the first two (Rhone and Seine) were wonderful and the third (Bourdeaux) was marred a little by some poor organisation and less-than-helpful approach of some staff. All three trips gave me a truly enriching experience of regional France and is to be recommended - perhaps just one or two of them at a time, if three cruises seems too long.

“APT River cruise was of a very high standard”

Trip: Aria River Ships River Cruise (EURCAB18)

Overall APT River cruise was of a very high standard but not as high standard as previously. The quality of the food varied between excellent and just good. The Paul Bocuse dinner in Lyon was really outstanding. Shore excursions were well organized and very good.

“Absolutely fantastic”
- WA, Australia Sep 2013

This was a fantastic cruise and I really can't find anything about it that I would change. All the excursions were wonderful with great memories. The food was to die for and the staff were excellent.
