Travel Advice Regarding Europe Floods

As floods continue to affect Europe, water levels in many rivers have reached record high levels. While the Rhine is open, we have been advised that parts of the Main and Danube rivers and the Main-Danube Canal continue to be affected. We understand that guests who are due to travel with any of our River Cruise Partners including APT, Travelmarvel, Avalon Waterways, Uniworld & Viking will naturally be concerned about the status of their forthcoming European river cruise.

Global Journeys are being fully appraised on a regular basis by each Operator on the current status of each of their cruises. We will pass that information onto you directly, if it affects your cruise, as soon as it arrives. Some departures will operate as scheduled, others have been slightly amended and others have been cancelled.

Our priority has been to work with affected guests. Each of our guests will be contacted by their own personal consultant if their river cruise is affected. We will provide everything possible to help you recover appropriate costs, once the Operator has dealt with the cancellation their end and refunded us any monies owing.
