Wet weather and lack of dress requirements in our itinerary precluded some activity 1 , NSW, Australia, Jun 2016
The group only consisted of eleven who mixed well. Pam & I (83 & 81) where the eldest. Did not consider the great distances between overnight stops and found that arriving late of a day did not allow much time for looking around, although there is not a lot to see in the Pilbura such as Tom Price village. Our disappointment was to travel 596 kms to ...read more see the Tom Price mine only having to leave without a visit due to heavy rain overnight to prevent flooding over the roads. Also had to leave Exmouth for the same reason. Would have liked to see the Iron Ore Trains unloading at Port Headland and the ore being loaded onto the ships instead of only observing the latter from a distance. We were not advised that it was necessary to walk in the small waves to board the glass bottom boats at Ningaloo Marine Park and to enter the water at Monkey Mia and we had no appropriate clothing. However despite the vast distances we did enjoy experiencing the size of this great country and catching up with old friends in Perth. At our age we would now prefer a holiday where we only unpack once without early morning starts.

Our feedback is the trip was very good except there was very little commentary as it was a replacement guide and if this had been made public knowledge we could have been more understanding. We had a driver who had done this tour two years ago so he had some knowledge so that is really the only commentary we received. Surely this company has notes or ...read more some form of knowledge to pass to a replacement guide. Tom Price mines accommodation was very poor. We didn't even have hot water and it really no better than a backpackers . All other accommodation and food was really nice. Back to the beginning is most people go on a tour for the commentary. We were very happy with the service from you. Thank you.
A very tight schedule 1 , Australia, Aug 2013
A very tight schedule due to distances to be covered each day and early dusk. As a result we felt that we were just passing through and missing 'the feeling' of the various stop offs or no stop offs. No criticism and a difficult one due to the distances between accommodation.
