This was the trip of a lifetime! I loved this trip, although the trip was busy it was jam packed with all the best of Europe. The people I met on the tour were amazing and I appreciated the knowledge and expertise of our tour director. Really lovely holiday, we absolutely enjoyed it! Our tour director, Patrick Sidney, was the best he was so knowledgeable and organized to make our trip worry-free. The only thing that we fell not quite perfect is probably some of the hotels we stayed in not quite 4-star standard and a couple of the dinners in hotels were less desirable.

Global Journeys and our consultant Madeline was great throughout the booking process, and they have the most competitive price too!

Trafalgar is good value for money and offers a wide range of travel itineraries to suit every whim and taste.

Our tour director Patrick was extremely knowledgeable, highly organised and great fun to travel with. We were a bit worried that 21 days was too long to spend on a coach tour but it flew by and was heaps of fun. I made some fantastic friends on this trip who I hope to catch up with very soon. Our tour guide Peter Ansell was amazing and had our best interest at heart all the time, especially security and making us check every morning before we left to check our bags for wallets, cameras and most of all our passports. Our coach was beautiful, it was only 4 months old and also had Wifi. Our driver Marco, who was italian (& spoke very little English) was an amazing driver and a real gentlemen.

I personally found that this trip was long enough, as it is extremely fast paced, not for the person who wants to sleep in every morning, but rather for those who wants to lot's to see and do. I am very glad I did not choose a shorter tour though, as I would have missed so much, and I probably won't get to do it again. I added 3 days in London at the start of my trip and 2 days at the end to take in the London sights, which was all organised for me by Georgie. Some people flew in the day before and were suffering jet lag at the beginning of the trip, which was a really bad start to their holiday.

Over all this trip was amazing , and now I look back at my photos , I can almost feel myself standing up in the Eiffel Tower, or in the alps in Switzerland, or sipping champagne at Sorrento as the sun goes down. Thank you Trafalgar!

Thank you Global Journeys for organizing the best holiday we've ever had. We are a family of five that wanted to see the highlights of Europe through an organized tour group (Trafalgar Tours). The overall tour was superb, well arranged and we had a terrific tour director (thank you Brent Cooper).

Our other travel companions were a laugh a minute, the sights and scenery were beyond belief (photos don't do justice), accommodation and food was great, we received VIP entry into most popular attraction, and the ongoing historical and explanations from our tour director kept us wanting more. I recommend anyone to holiday with Trafalgar Tours and to use the expertise of Global Journeys to guide you (thanks Jemma Rosen). We are one happy family, but disappointed it is all over now. Guess we better plan the next trip now.

We saw so much of Europe and every day had wow factor. The itinerary was perfect for us! This is a fast paced tour, we covered 6,970 kms from London to London in 22 days but we saw so much, it was great value! You do need to have a reasonable level of fitness as there is a lot of walking at times on uneven ground. Our tour director Bernie was excellent and informative. He was very well organised and our tour ran like clockwork. His knowledge and passion for Europe shone through and we felt well cared for and in safe hands. Our driver Claudio was also very competent and the bus was kept spotless. We really appreciated VIP access into many of the main attractions to miss the crowds and queues. We did most of the optional excursions and enjoyed them. We took the Eurostar return option and it was good to get back to London from Paris in 2 hours & 15 mins after sitting on a bus for 21 days.

Accommodation standards varied a little from country to country, but overall the standard was satisfactory to high with the rooms being comfortable and clean. We would certainly recommend travelling with Trafalgar and booking tours through Global Journeys. It was a hassle free trip from start to finish. It was easy to book online, the Global Journeys staff were very efficient in answering all our queries and they also appeared to be the most competitively priced for this tour.

It was a fantastic experience to see a fair bit of Europe, not a lot of free time though due to covering a lot of interesting places. The fantastic Tour Director made the trip A- Grade and a lot of fun as did the nice coach driver. Global Journeys is a good company to buy a holiday from and Yvonne Brooks was very helpful. Our 21 days Grand European trip was very good, the only thing that was not good is some of the hotels that we stayed in were 3 star not as promised all 4 star hotel.

Being in Western Europe in August was very busy, but the tour was very well organised, with access and entry into tourist sites being organised in such a way that the group did not waste any time in queues etc - very impressive. She provided a wealth of information, in paper handouts, as well as videos, and her own anecdotal commentary from time to time on the coach. She was fluently multi-lingual, which inspired confidence. The local experts were also very good. The driver was also very good. Accommodation was better that I expected, but on such a tour you really want to be out of the hotel room!

We had a wonderful Holiday in Europe thanks to Trafalgar that we had wanted to do for a long time, our travel group were a great bunch of people 34 Australians and New Zealanders. We also appreciated how she made sure we got to places early to beat the large crowds and the heat. Lynda has a very good personal knowledge of Europe having living there for a long time which made it easier for all of us all. She has a great sense of humor and her singing and dancing is ok to. The Optional Experiences that Lynda selected were all of great standard and value for money.

The only disappointment was not being able to go up in the Eiffel Tower due to it being closed due to the riots. Lynda did her very best to make that happen at least we got to walk under it later in day after Lynda's persistence and we saw it lit up on the River Cruise. Our Driver Enzo was also fantastic as driver and as a person we felt very safe with him he never missed a beat always new where he was going and where to park for our convenience. Finally i wish to thank Yvonne Brooks at Global Journeys for helping arrange our tour, she was always available and happy to answer my many questions. and arranged everything without any problems, she always seemed to remember me when I rang even after many months which we appreciated.

The trip was so good that we don't think we would ever be able to do so much by ourselves. We particularly like the route Trafalgar chose, which covers lots of interesting areas within limited days. We had such a fun group with heaps of laughs! Weather was quite good, mostly sunshine. My favourite was the Amalfi Coast, a place called Positano in Italy. Monaco was also beautiful. Motels were well situated and clean. Most of our breakfasts and included meals were great. A great way to experience different cultures. Absolutely fantastic 22 days!

Our travel director, Howard Hazekamp was exceptional. Howard made sure the trip ran like clockwork, but kept it fun along the way, & was very helpful with any questions or assistance needed. The Trafalgar tour was good value but of high quality, I would recommend Trafalgar greatly.

Our trip had been arranged by Hannah Campbell as before, everything went of with out a hitch and the people on our tour were first class. Our tour guide Patrick was only to happy to help with anything that came up.

I am in my 50's and travelling alone - I made a lot of new friends and always felt safe and included in all things on the tour - it was so much fun - I encourage more singles to travel with Trafalgar. The Grand European tour was just fantastic. Our itinerary kept you moving, but allowed you to see the real highlights of Europe in a relatively short period. The tour guide was fantastic, optional extras were generally good although Tyrolean Folklore music night was appalling, it was like something from a bad episode of the Benny Hill Show. The standard of the included dinner was about 50% ok and about 50% rubbish (some inedible). Trafalgar should forget these and suggest patrons find there own restaurants ...read more for dinner. I was embarrassed daily by tour members (mostly Australian) stealing food from the breakfast buffet. Trafalgar should at least try to put a stop to this by explaining to the punters that this unacceptable behaviour.
