Our guide, Stefano, was one in a million......just enough care to keep you safe without smothering the life out of you, just enough running commentary that you're informed but not bored to death by a guide that won't shut up. Do the tour - you won't regret it. I will be back, I will be there for a lot longer and I'm very tempted to never come home!

Our 6 day Iceland adventure with Intrepid was fantastic. Our local guide Karl was excellent and shared so much local knowledge with us. We travelled in a mini bus - a total of 10 guests and although we were the oldest guests we never felt out of place. This was the best tour I could have asked for. A small group of 12 fellow travellers with the most considerate and knowledgeable tour guide/driver. Iceland was the most magical place I have ever visited. The range and variety of natural sights was breath taking. The passion of STEFAN, our guide, really shone through.
