The tour leader Steen Harris was very organised and extremely knowledgeable on the history of all the places we visited. My only complaint was he didn't provide us with a phone number and although I sent him 4 emails during the duration of the tour he didn't reply to any. I missed a tour because I got the meeting place wrong and couldn't get hold of ...read more him to obtain the correct information. We covered a lot of ground in the eight days visiting many interesting places. However you have to be prepared for long days! The hotels ranged from fairly sub standard - Jury's inn Bradford to 5 star luxury - Johnston Spa resort in Enfield.

We were looking to see as much as we could in a short time. This tour was great for seeing the highlights of these three countries. Would use Costsaver again.

The trip was good overall. I would recommend this tour to a first time visitor who wishes to know more about Britain and Ireland. I enjoyed the trip also because it was well organised. Our tour guide communicated very well and our driver was excellent. The meals which were included were reasonable - you get what you pay for.

The short tour achieved our main objectives. For those who have time constraints, we recommend this particular tour as most of the major highlights are taken care of.

Good tour overall , however most sightseeing involved additional entry fee payments and optional excursions were expensive. Added additional $1000 to the tour costs. Didn't plan tour time properly to enable entry time to go into Windsor castle on the last day which was frustrating. Being in front of it but no time to go inside it!

It's a great way to look at the ancient monuments and a bit of history. My highlights were Edinburgh and Cardiff castles.

I think there is so much to see in Edinburgh that the accomodation should be there not Glasgow, spend a half day in Glasgow and two in Edinburgh, 4 hrs is not enough time to see anything. A night in Belfast would be good, not just a drive thru the City. Dublin to see a lot you need at a full day, there should be enough time in Windsor to some exploring. ...read more It really is just a sightseeing tour. On the whole we loved the trip, to get a taste to go back and tour by car.

We would have liked to see some of the Scottish Highlands and it was disappointing only really seeing Glasgow and Edinburgh. We stayed in Glasgow two nights and saw nothing in the city! We had the most wonderful tour director called Daisy. She filled our minds, body and souls with the wonders of this tour. We meet some wonderful people and had a fun time with them. Unfortunately, the pace was a bit fast and we didnt seem to have enough time to really explore, but it gave us a taste and Daisy showed us things and places we would not ...read more have seen if we werent on this trip. The accommodation was fine but some of the in house dinners were less than fine.

This was a wonderful holiday and was enjoyed very much. Terrific tour director and driver, lots of information and knowledge, saw a lot in a short space of time. This was a shorter tour seeing a lot of the area so best thing is to return to those you liked best. Enjoyed meals in hotel, accommodations were very good. Would stop at the hotel for coach pickup if I came on another tour - overall wonderful tour and will recommend Global Journeys to friends.

I really enjoyed the experience. It was nice not to have worry about connections with trains or juggling maps or worry about finding suitable accommodation, the tour director was really good and we enjoyed the optional excursions.

We had the best time, saw places that we would not have seen by ourselves, meet a lot of nice people & made new friends. John the tour guide was just great and has every thing planed to a tee. Could not fault the tour anywhere and the bus driver was the best driver I have seen - just excellent.

For someone who has not travelled on a plane or visited another country since she was a little girl (I am nearing fifty and this was my first tour overseas) I was soon put at ease the way everything just fell into place and no worries at all. I have to give thanks to Yvonne at Global Journeys, for it was her that put my mind at ease and answered all my emails (and there were many). I personally would recommend this tour and will definitely be booking again through Global journeys.

I am so glad I went on this trip, thinking now how I should have gone for longer. That's okay because I am thinking of booking another in the coming year (longer). I could not have asked for a better time thanks a bunch for all your help it made the trip so much easier.

Comfortable bus, good tour guide and, well planned tour. Accommodation was ok to very good- some of the hotels were clean and comfortable and others were very good. None of the hotels were terrible. Overall an excellent experience.

Tour itinerary for 8 days was great, covering so much in a short period of time and has whetted our appetite for more holidays in the UK. York, north of England fantastic. Scotland, Ireland we loved. Trafalgar were limited in providing transfers to and from their nominated hotels - other tour operators we have been with have been much more accommodating. Good value for money, we enjoyed immensely.
