Ticked off a bucket list item 2 , QLD, Australia, Sep 2019
We had Eastern Canada on our wishlist, and our researching found this excursion, which worked in with our primary reason for the trip (our grandson got married in NY Central Park). The motor coach, driver and tour director were very good. The mix of travellers from 'related' countries (Australia, New Zealand, England, Scotland and Wales) was also very ...read more good, AND no one in the group was of those annoying types who was always late or overbearing.

The selected hotels were generally on par with expectations of Cosmos tours, with the odd occasional surprise. There was one disconcerting aspect, which we knew about when booking - predominately no included breakfast. This is a deviation from all other Cosmos tours that we have taken. The optional excursions were generally well utilised. The amount of spare time was more than sufficient for personal usage - either exploration or relaxation.
A great tour of the US & Canada 0 , ACT, Australia, Aug 2019
This was a great tour, more than I expected. The other 5 who went with me were really thankful to me for choosing this tour. Everyone said Niagara Falls was exciting. Though I learnt a lot about American history, it was great to learn about Canada as well. Having breakfast and visiting 'Maple Syrup' farm in Quebec was great, as we only knew about it ...read more from story books. I loved all the cities in Canada. Some of us had emotional experiences visiting Washington DC and New York monuments. I learnt what makes America great and how much America has helped other nations.

Our tour guide, Daryl had a good knowledge of the history and economy of both the countries. He was very thorough in his job. Once my suitcase ended up in someone else’s room, he came personally to assure me that I need not panic and found my bag within 20 minutes in such a big hotel. The only thing I would have preferred was that all breakfast and some dinners were included in the tour. It was difficult at times to hunt for food especially in the morning.

Overall I am very pleased with the tour and Global Journeys for arranging my tour with Cosmos. Once again, I thank Hannah for organising it step by step, and answering all my questions promptly.
Beautiful Niagara Falls and Jaw Dropping Quebec 0 , VIC, Australia, May 2019
Niagara Falls was so great to see l can’t believe that it froze last year it was just beautiful. Quebec was a jaw dropping sight. The hotels were great and the mix of people were great.
Eastern US & Canada Grand Vacation 4 , NSW, Australia, Apr 2019
The only disappointment was Boston and the hotel. It was hard to find my room. The lift wasn’t working and the hotel wasn’t in a very nice area and not close to restaurants etc. My door and the door next door was impossible to open. I managed to get another room which was just as well as the door wouldn’t close.

Our Tour Director and coach driver ...read more were very good, I think we needed more time in Washington DC. I think breakfast should be included in each city as we were on the move quite early every day. There was a mix up regarding Go-Link picking me up so I missed my flight and had to pay $US 307 to get on the next flight.
Eastern US & Canada Grand Vacation 2 , ACT, Australia, Sep 2018
Once again had a great tour. Our tour director Matt was amazing. Thanks Cosmos for another wonderful holiday. Looking forward to my next adventure with you.
Eastern US & Canada Grand Vacation 4 , NSW, Australia, Aug 2018
This is one of the best tours I have done with Cosmos. The tour guide was an extremely capable and knowledgeable guy who enjoyed what he was doing. The entire tour group were very punctual and caring. I was disappointed there were not more breakfasts included but there were lots of eateries as well at that time of the morning. The optional tours were ...read more of a good standard. I would recommend a Cosmos tour to any of my friends. Some accommodation I found the airconditioning to be very noisy when it cut in and out.
Eastern US & Canada Grand Vacation 5 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2018
Tour was perfect. No problems at all. Bus was comfortable. Guide very professional and driver outstanding. Everything ran very smoothly and we didn’t even have to carry our own cases once. Booking this tour was easy with Global journeys and so we will certainly use you again. Thank you.
A Grand Vacation Through Eastern US and Canada 1 , NSW, Australia, Jun 2018
We have just returned from a second Cosmos trip after travelling on a 15 day-tour through the Eastern US and Canada. We had an amazing time visiting various tourist attractions of 10 US and Canada cities. There was a lot to learn and absorb during the visit: the American history and the role each visited city has played, the unique character of each ...read more city of the Eastern Canada.

Most of the hotels were located near or right in the middle of the CBD. All were clean and comfortable for overnight or 2 nights-stays. Our Tour Director, Becky is an exceptional woman who was helpful and knowledgeable about US and Canadian history. She performed beyond her duty to bring us many anecdotes and cheerful thoughts during the bus trip. Nelson, our bus driver had a good sense of humour and always welcomed us with a smile when we entered or left the bus.

Overall, we quite enjoyed the trip and will do the Cosmos tour again in the future. I would also like to thank Jemma at Global Journeys for smoothing out the booking process and letting our vacation to start with no hiccups.
Fabulous tour of Eastern USA and Canada 2 , NSW, Australia, May 2018
As a previous Cosmos customer, I was confident that our tour would be everything we hoped for but my friend had never been on a bus tour before and was a bit reticent. However she soon realized how worry free it would be and was pleased with the standard of the accommodation. Our guide, Hiliary, turned out to be the best I have ever had. After a tour ...read more of New York, we went to Boston where our local guide was a delight. We were all charmed by Quebec City and Montreal. Highlights were breakfast at a sugar shack, the Thousand Islands cruise in sunny weather, spectacular Niagara Falls, dinner at an Amish farm, the museums of Washington DC and historic Philadelphia. Georgie at Global Journeys was a great help with our visa queries, as always. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour.
Autumn in Eastern USA & Canada 2 , NSW, Australia, Oct 2017
To see the Autumn in New England was the main reason I joined this trip. But unfortunately I didn't get to see too many of the beautiful leaves as Autumn came late this year - except in Quebec. Nevertheless I had a good time during the journey. The scenery in both countries was very beautiful. Our tour director, and the driver were the best ones based ...read more on my four previous Cosmos tours. The fellow travellers are very nice especially the couple we met from Wales.
15 Day Eastern US & Canada Grand Vacation 1 , NSW, Australia, Sep 2017
We had wonderful time and would recommend to others. We definitely book our next tour with Global Journeys especially if we get Jemma as our tour consultant. (GJ. We'll make sure you do! Glad you enjoyed yourselves.)
Great Trip - Will be Doing More! 1 , NSW, Australia, Aug 2017
Recently completed a Cosmos tour of north eastern USA and Canada. Started and finished in New York with 15 days of wonderful sight seeing in between. Our tour director (Scott) and driver (Don) were great guides and Scott's historical knowledge of the places we visited added extra to the excellent local guides who showed us the sights of their cities. ...read more The added extras were well worthwhile and helped make the whole trip an amazing journey. This was the first trip for my wife and I with Cosmos & Global Journeys but it certainly won't be our last.
USA & Canada 4 , QLD, Australia, Jul 2017
The tour was good as stated but the disappointments were the Skyline Hotel was poor compared with others stayed in. Only the last hotel we stayed in supplied breakfast so always going out to find some place to get food either the night before or early before leaving, a lot of people mentioned this as it added to the cost of the tour also no evening ...read more meals included so again added to the cost.

The optional excursion in Boston of harbour cruise and lobster dinner, the cruise was good but no one we spoke to thought the meal was good in fact terrible was the most common term used. The dessert was an afterthought of slicing a chocolate cake in half horizontally and put on plate so some had icing on top whilst others didn't and the cake wasn't cooked properly. Recommend taking this off the options. Of all the Cosmos tours we have taken this is the only one not including breakfasts (except one) or dinners, why? This significantly increases the tour cost, we would happily pay extra to have included save having to hunt around for shops for food.
Great visit to North American cities. 1 , QLD, Australia, Jun 2017
It was a great group and great size, only about 20. The city experiences were amazing and local guides very knowledgeable. Enough free time to explore and chances to get away on your own. Hard to pick a highlight, I enjoyed all the places we visited. I enjoyed my extra days in New York post-trip, after getting a feel for it on our city tour on the first ...read more day. Lots to see and do. Great weather, great company and friendly locals. I can't wait to go again!
Overall good value for money! 2 , WA, Australia, May 2017
The tour was fast paced, which was what we wanted. A good bird's eye view of the eastern seaboard of North America. We particularly enjoyed Montreal, Niagara Falls, Washington and the visit to an Amish home. The tour director, Michael Gibbs, was excellent, so too was the driver Don. Overall good value for money!
East US and Canada Tour 1 , Qld, Australia, Oct 2016
Tour guide a little stilted initially, but after feedback from several travellers she made a concerted effort to do more research and be more informative. Most inclusions were good except for Boston harbour cruise which was a glorified ferry ride. Initial preamble talk re tipping levels is too strong on all USA tours and Cosmos should allow guides to ...read more water this down a bit as it actually discourages generous tipping levels by all travellers no matter their country of origin.
15 day Eastern US & Canada Grand Vacation 0 , VIC, Australia, Oct 2016
The route was well chosen and the autumn foliage was truly spectacular. The cities were interesting and attractive and the scenery generally lovely.

Enjoyed scenery in Canada & beautiful Quebec & Ottawa. Interesting visit to the Amish people. Great boat trip at Nigeria.. Fantastic 2 days exploring Washington's museums & galleries. Great tour very divert. Lots of kilometres, interesting scenery & cities.
Eastern US & Canada Grand Vacation 3 , QLD, Australia, Sep 2016
Highlights: Niagara Falls, Old Quebec City, 1000 Islands cruise, Manhattan. Having wifi on the coach in USA. Lowlights: Holiday Inn in Boston. No wifi on the coach in Canada. We would have liked to have had more time in Washington DC as there is so much to see. Coach driver, Chris was excellent.
Great trip with a group of friendly, fun and like minded people.   3 , QLD, Australia, Aug 2016
Great time of year to travel, because we had not one day of rain. Our accommodation was excellent, especially since the tour was low cost.
