Good mix of land tour & cruise of Greek islands but too many free days e.g. 1st day is nothing but optional cruise of 3 islands near Athens. We loved our Cosmos Greece tour including the 4 night cruise. Marieke was our tour guide and nothing was too hard for her to make everybody's trip perfect. She went over and beyond expectations to make this trip memorable. The 4 night cruise was a great way to experience the islands and all the other places we visited were incredible.

A very enjoyable tour we had a very good tour director in George who looked after us at every step and a good coach captain. Most of the hotels were top notch the Golden age in Athens was excellent. We booked our holiday online with the help of Juliet and could not have been more happy. She made it easy and we were off on our holiday to Greece. We were picked up at the airport and from then on we were looked after. The tour of Greece was so interesting and we were amazed how beautiful Greece was. The whole tour was excellent hotels clean and comfortable and as it was our first time on a ship we were pleasantly surprised. We do recommend this trip.

Greece is a fabulous, vibrant country that this tour shows off to its best advantage. Visits to ancient sites, unique cultural experiences and relaxing fun in the Greek islands made for a great holiday. Tour guides were fabulous with a great sense of humour combined with encyclopedic knowledge of their topics. Highly recommend the tour.

All aspects of this tour was fabulous, but the cruise of the islands was amazing. Loved Rhodes and would have really liked longer there.

The Greek countryside is beautiful and green. The tour director Maurio was very courteous and helpful and informative and hotels were comfortable with good buffet breakfasts included. Too many optional extras to purchase building the cost up significantly. The optional extras in the trip to Olympia and Delphi should have not been paid extras but should have been included in the sightseeing of the stadium and the ruins of Delphi as they were the main reason we were touring those places. Overall a great experience and a very enjoyable trip.

Really enjoyed the tour. Fast paced with only one night at each stop on the coach tour as so much to see. The hotel in Athens was excellent with good service and helpful staff. The best hotel on the tour was in Olympia, whilst the hotel in Kalambaka was old and run down. The coach was not the best as it had no pull down tables or back of the seat storage. ...read more Also the storage space above was very limited and most people had to keep bags under their feet. Happy with the service from Global Journeys, our tickets arrived in plenty of time and queries were answered promptly. I would book through them again for our next trip.

We are now back and recovered from our flight. Our holiday was excellent, there was not one aspect that we did not enjoy. Most of the accommodations were very good. All the optional excursions we did were well worth doing and we did quite a few. We met a lot of nice people on our tour and everyone got on well with each other. We really enjoyed Athens ...read more and made the most of our free time there exploring on our own. We were impressed with the Metro, which we used on a few occasions. We loved the Acropolis and the Parthenon and all the other places on the agenda. The cruise was fantastic and loved all the Islands. The food was also excellent. We can't tell you how wonderful our tour experience was! Tour guide Karen Penney was not only wonderful but super-organised, caring, efficient, friendly, good company. She always got us going early so that we would be the first bus at venues, allowing us to enjoy tours (whether included or optional) without hordes of people around, giving us excellent ...read more photo opportunities. The bus tour was excellent, with driver Andonis an added bonus: superb driver and nothing too much bother, friendly, helpful. The cruise was also excellent - we had always regarded us as 'not cruise people' but now we are converted. Cabins spacious, food great, service also great and again we were always first tour off the boat, first bus to take off, etc. etc. Excursion guides were also excellent.

The trip was a great experience, the service was great throughout Greece. The cruise ship was different however - the rooms were old and only single beds were available, which for a newly married couple was hard to deal with. Overall we had a great trip.

From day one the help and support from Yvonne Brooks at Global Journeys to organise our tour was par excellence. There was always a very quick response from Yvonne to any query we had and she was able to offer advice as to where we could book trains etc for our onward journey. Hotels were comfortable and meals were very good. The cruise section took us to all the islands we wanted to see and we enjoyed this immensely and all tours on land ran like clockwork. We were very fortunate to have Tour Director Marieanna who was most helpful and pleasant to be with and was able to keep everybody on time which is a big plus when sharing a trip with a large number of travellers. We would highly recommend this tour to any person contemplating a Greek Tour.

My Aunt and I travelled through Greece and the Islands cruise with Cosmos. We had a wonderful time. I have travelled with Cosmos and Globus before and am looking at a Globus Asian tour for this year.
