Partner with Us

We specialise in multi-day touring, river cruising and ocean cruising only. We operate a “click to enquire model”. If you’ve not heard of this term before, it effectively means we provide visitors to our site, and our partner sites, the ability to choose the trip best suited for them, and when they are ready (or close to ready) to book, they enquire with us, and are assigned a dedicated Global Journeys travel advisor to look after the entire booking process.

How We Work

Visitors search through our marketplace of tours and cruises, select a departure and send us an enquiry.

Clients are assigned to one of our travel advisors who provides advice, adds flights and ancillaries as well as confirming availability with you.

Client books and pays us online and we confirm the booking to you. Simples.

What makes Global Journeys different?

We're a full service online travel agency. We market and book multi-day journeys. We book flights, accommodation and all the extras too, but only to clients that are purchasing a cruise or tour with us. Every client is looked after by a dedicated Global Journeys travel advisor throughout their booking experience.

How is the booking process handled?

We look after our clients from their initial enquiry, all the way through the booking process including deposit and balance payment collection. We also provide post-booking support and on-deliver travel documentation.

We can supply an API/XML Feed can you use these?

We work with many suppliers and have integrated many formats. These include

  • SOAP data connections
  • RESTful APIs
  • FTP or HTTP Feed download (With or without authentication)
  • FTP upload of data files to our servers
  • CSV, JSON and XML data formats
We don't have an XML Feed or API - is there another way to add our trips?

Many fantastic smaller operators don’t have this technology yet, or their Feeds aren’t adequate enough to provide the content and information we require. Our Operator Dashboard enables small and mid-sized operators to maintain their trips on our platform.

What commission do you charge?

Commission levels and commercials are determined during our on-boarding process.

How long will it take before a decision is made on our application?

We'll do a thorough investigation of your brand, trips and processes. This shouldn't take very long assuming your application is thorough and provides us with all the details we need to determine whether we'll be a good fit for each other.

We operate sailing trips? Do you only partner with land operators?

No, we partner with all types of operators, from snowshoeing tours to coastal sailing companies, however if your operation has multiple levels of pricing based on cabin types etc, then perhaps a XML or API connection is your best option.

How long will it take before our trips are added?

If you're using our Partner Dashboard then the time it takes to on-board your trips is up to you. Implementation times differ for custom API/XML integrations and is mostly determined by the technical and content capabilities of your business.

Are there any requirements that all suppliers must be able to provide for their application to be successful?

We are not looking to partner with every supplier in the world. Instead our focus is on a portfolio of trips that we feel will provide our clients with amazing choice. We also need to feel we can add value to your marketing and distribution mix.

Listed are some minimum requirements for all partner applications:

  • You must be a multi-day operator (no DMC's)
  • You must operate multi-day trips with scheduled departure(s), (or private tours that depart on demand)
  • You need to be able to provide us with day by day itinerary details
  • You need to be able to provide us with a trip map for each unique itinerary (no crappy Google maps or screenshots)
  • You need to be able to provide us with quality imagery for each itinerary
  • We will require a direct contact for reservations and support
  • Your trips must operate in English
What currencies do you work with?

At this point in time we are only accepting applications from partners that can provide or accept AUD and/or NZD. All trip payments to you will be in either of these currencies.
