“Wonderful trip through the Golden West”

We booked this Globus tour because it offered us time to do our own thing during the trip. We were not disappointed, the tour inclusions gave us a good insight into each location but allowed us sufficient time to see things we wanted to see. We travelled during May and has terrific weather except for one very cold day at the Grand Canyon. The group we travelled with were a very friendly lot from five countries but were mostly Australians. The Tour Director Deanna and driver Jason were exceptional, offering great advice about every location we stopped at. They couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely travel with Globus again and have already recommended this tour company to others.

Excellent support from Global Journeys. Good time of the year to travel May / June. Visits the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam. Think about stopping over in Honolulu on the way home for a little R & R.

“Awesome trip!”

We booked this trip as it was our first time to the USA and neither my husband nor I wanted to worry about driving. We travelled with our ten year old daughter and were keen to see and experience as much of the west coast as we could in just over two weeks. We were not disappointed at all! Everything went as smooth as it possibly could, from checking in earlier in LA to when we left to continue our holiday at Disneyland. The tour guide was exceptional and it was apparent that he was very experienced and knowledgeable about all of the areas which we visited. He was proactive in offering dinner suggestions at each location, as well as local maps and areas to avoid! The coach driver was just as exceptional and delivered us safely to our next destination each day with some friendly banter and jokes along the way!

The actual tour itself ticked all of the boxes for us and covered the big ticket items which we had on our lists (Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Hollywood etc), but we also got to see some of the lesser known country side and desert which just enhanced our experience. The accommodation, in most instances was more than acceptable, there were a couple of places which we visited where I thought the accommodation could have been a little better than it was, however also understand that there were limited options in some of the smaller towns. Everywhere we stayed was clean and comfortable though. It would have been easier and more convenient if all of the accommodations offered continental breakfasts, especially given some of the early mornings which were had.

“Well organised and Great trip”

We had a great trip, our tour guide Jose was excellent and had a broad knowledge of all areas visited and went out of his way to make sure everyone had a great holiday. Highlights were the Grand Canyon and walking across the Golden Gate Bridge. I would recommend Global Journeys to anyone who wants a well organised holiday with a special thanks to Yvonne who did our booking.
