This colonial house was built by Jeronimo de Aliaga y Ramirez in 1535, the year Lima was established. The Aliaga family has lived within 40 rooms of the house ever since, rebuilding and remodeling it after earthquakes. Enter through the large wooden doors opening into a grand foyer with a staircase before touring the grand home.
